I did not deal directly with McMahon Ford, but I dealt with a division of the company called Chippewa Auto Sales and Leasing. They charged me almost $1000 for "unacceptable wear and tear" when I returned my vehicle off lease. The car was always professionally detailed and other than a few cosmetic blemishes, it was in great shape. They said the $1000 was for extensive body work and new tires, neither of which was necessary. I payed them $500, hoping that they would settle, considering that the car had almost 15,000 miles less than what was allowed, meaning the value was around $1200 more than what was expected. Instead of contacting me to fix the situation, they are now suing me. I don't know of McMahon Ford's business practices, but if they allow a division of their company to act in this way, I would be very leary of doing business with them!
