HOSPICE SERVICES
Each patient has individual needs, and our team looks at the whole person, not just the physical manifestations of the disease process. The team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to support the needs of patients and their families by providing:
-Medical care
-Nursing care and services
-Medications for pain control and symptom management
-Home medical equipment and supplies
-Physical, occupational and speech therapy
-Personal care assistance
-Nutrition counseling
-Counseling by social workers
-Spiritual support
-Bereavement counseling

HOME HEALTH SERVICES
"Home health" covers a variety of services provided in the home. Medicare will pay for some "non-custodial" care and services if the patient is homebound and under the supervision of a doctor. The benefit covers skilled medical care delivered in the home by an approved Medicare agency for treatment of an illness or injury.

Physical and occupational therapists can help patients recover muscle strength and coordination, alleviate chronic pain and re-learn everyday activities after an illness or injury. Speech therapists can help victims of brain trauma to speak and eat normally.
