- The Mission of Hope By the Sea is to create a stable, nurturing environment, which is conducive to, not only, allowing each client to develop healthy, happy, drug free lives, but also to assist them in acquiring the skills to achieve sobriety and successfully maintain it. In order to maintain sobriety, we believe in not only guiding our clients through each and every step to becoming clean and sober, but also to acknowledge and resolve the underlying issues, such as depression and/or anxiety, which are so often the overlooked cause of the addiction itself. To this end, we provide and utilize the latest and most innovative recovery tools along with psychological counseling, medications (as necessary), and most importantly a loving "family" of staff members who can recognize and bring out each client's inherent goodness while setting positive, loving limits on their behaviors. Our drug and alcohol treatment programs are designed to reflect our philosophy and mission objectives
