Formed in 1989, the law firm of Takakjian, Sowers & Sitkoff LLP is dedicated to serving the needs of individuals charged with a felony or misdemeanor crime or a drunk driving DUI offense or DMV Driver License Suspension to the most serious felony drug charges, Domestic Violence, Theft or 3-strikes and capital murder cases.
We have a long established statewide reputation and bring a unique depth of knowledge, local contacts and experience to your case. Each of the partners is a former Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney with extensive misdemeanor and felony trial experience. Mr. Takakjian is one of approximately 350 Certified Criminal Law Specialists out of 1480,000 attorneys practicing Law in the state of California. Mr. Sowers is former Police Detective of the Year. Also, he continues to teach at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Academy, where he has been an Instructor for over 17 years. Mr. Sowers was recently named the Southwestern University School of Law "Alumnus of the Year." Mr. Sitkoff is a former Los Angeles County Superior Court Commissioner.
