I will first say that yes, the are a little pricy, but they are worth it. The service was up to par with the steaks. I always get the filet when I go. Plus I am pretty sure they are the only place in town that has live lobsters, and also the only place that has a smoking section. I am most likely going back again and again.

My friend-girl said that her rib-eye was delicious. I made a mistake and changed my routine from a 14 oz Rib-eye to the 28 oz Porter House. I hoped to compare it to Charlie's T-Bones on Dryads St. in New Orleans. To me, a Porter House is just a T-Bone with a misshaped bone. In this case my Porter House fell short on the quality end. The New York side was tuff and a lot of gristle. The potao, bread and salad were fine. The prices contiue to rise, but what isn't? My t-bone was $38 and their Surf and turf was $55 with a puny 10 oz rib eye (I passed) with a 12-14 oz, I might try, once. Our waitress was attentive enough to be a nuisance. Then we realized we were her only table. It was 7 pm on Saturday night and there were 11 customers, including us. A bad sign. Used to be a line ran out the door. Am I going back? Yes! I know I probably made a bad choice with the t-bone. anyway, the folks were kind.
