    I did some work for them in the late 1990's in Minnesota, many of their assignments were what I would call "poor", after that they never seemed to have anything. I am eligible for rehire, wrote the CEO to complain about them never calling me back. Tried them in Austin, TX, no response, no calls back after repeatably calling them, no request for an interview. Worthless, avoid them.

    All staffing agencies work that way. You are working for them and they are working for their clients. They need at least two weeks to replace you if you want to leave. That is the standard professional length of time for giving notice. You are a temporary employee, you are not entitled to notice.

    I sent a resume to Manpower in Mesa, AZ. They called me and told me that they had a job for me that would start in 1 week. I went there following they're horrible directions, and registered. They never bothered to test me but gave me paperwork and sent me on. I never heard from them again. I called them in 2 days asking about the next week's assignment as I had no information. I was told that she was "just about to call me" the job was cancelled and they had nothing else. That was 3 weeks ago and I call frequently and they never have any assignments. Qustion, if you don't give me an apptitude test ie spelling, typing etc. just how do you determine what I can do and therefore have a job for me. TACKY PLACE TACKY PEOPLE. They may as well just pick up day laborers because that's what the casual jean-wearing applicants were there for =(

    i am a very hard worker i know how to run a cash register. i know how to stock things when i ain't busy. i catch on to things pretty quickly.

    I worked for this company a few months ago and they were not my first choice. When my assignment was over, instead of telling me at least one to two week in advance. They told me the day of my assignment being over. I was offered a job with another agency to start a position right away, and did not take it. I wanted to be fair to Manpower. I was told to let them know at least two weeks in advance before leaving them. The other company gave the job to somebody else. I should have taken the job. That was my fault and therefore, I was left without having income in one day. DONT GO TO MANPOWER, THEY DONT WARN THEIR EMPLOYEES IN ADVANCE.

    I have called on Manpower to provide me Temp Service not only in Birmingham, but also in Huntsville. I enjoy working with them and they are good to find the right person for our needs.
