Great wash, great lunch & excellent rain guarantee!
Posted by Nicole S. on 09/09/2008
I brought my husband's car in for a wash...Diamond Service. The car was sparkling clean inside & out. The staff was professional & friendly. There is a little cafe inside the carwash that has GREAT food...fresh baked muffins, Chicago hot dogs & lots more, YUM. Well, it rained on me later that day. I called the wash & they informed my I had a full 3 day rain guarantee to bring it back to be rewashed. I am going back tomorrow for my raincheck & a Panini sandwich for lunch to boot.

Professional service & hidden treasure inside!
Posted by nicaelle on 08/14/2008
I visited Green Valley Car Wash for the first time this week. The staff was very helpful on explaining the wash options without being pushy or dismissive. The cashier not only reminded me to thoroughly checkout the completed wash before Ieft as they will redo anything not up to my picky standards, but volunteered there was a 72 hour rain guarantee! So much for not washing your car during monsoon season anymore. While inside I discoved a recent addition to the car wash. The new cafe inside has everything from fresh baked muffins & cookies, to real Chicago dogs, panini sandwiches & more. I had fresh squeezed lemonade (the girl squeezed it fresh right in front of me) and a lowcarb chicken caesar wrap...from scratch dressing...BEST CAESAR I EVER HAD. I will be there every week for lunch & a GREAT car wash. I highly reccomend this business.

HORRIBLE car wash and a windshield scam to boot.....
Posted by Tara L. on 07/07/2008
I had such bad service here that I feel the need to post this on as many review sites as possible. Watch out for this place!I just moved to Stephanie & 215, and was glad to see Green Valley Hand Car Wash was very near my home. When I pulled up, I asked for the $19.95 Gold wash. The man I talked to asked me if I wanted an interior or exterior vinyl coating, and I said interior. I also told him that I had some trash in the back seat (empty water bottles and wrappers; OBVIOUS trash), and asked if I needed to throw it away myself, or if they would do it. He said no problem, they would throw away. As I went to sit inside to wait, a man ran up to me and asked me if I was aware of the large chip in my windshield. As I had just had my windshield replced about 5 months ago, I became suspicious instantly. I asked him to please show me the chip and he actually pointed to a tiny little spot on my window and started his whole spiel on how it would eventually turn into a big crack, and that the integrity of the windshield has diminished blah blah blah. He said it would be no cost to me, and that my insurance would cover it. I reached over and began picking at the "chip," and lo and behold it came OFF. It was bird poop or bug guts, and he tried to make it seem like a chip! He had nothing to say after that. As I sat inside and waited for my car, I saw three people ushered in and scammed by the windshield people (called American Auto Glass). They would actually call the insurance company of the person, tell them what service was going to be done to the car, and then hand over the phone to the person for them to give their approval. I noticed that the windshield guy was approaching almost all females and people aged over 60. What scum. To top it all off, no one announced that my car was done, so I just sat there waiting for over 1/2 an hour. I finally got up and went outside, and my car is just sitting in the lot waiting. It took them another 5 minutes to figure out where my keys were. When I got in my car, all the trash was still in the back seat just as I had left it! There definitely wasn't any "interior vinyl coating" used. They had not cleaned under the front seats AT ALL. The doors, air vents, and and other small things inside had not even been cleaned. The wheel wells had not been washed and detailed and the undercarriage was still filthy. By this time I just wanted to get as far away from this shoddy place as possible. BUYER BEWARE. Check out this link I found to an article that talks about how windshield repair scams are becoming very frequent (or you can just google windshield repair scams). It sounds just like this place.... http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/national/2004/08/10/44850.htm

Avoid the MANIPULATIVE PUNK that wants to repair your so-called pebble broken windows
Posted by ways2health on 06/18/2008
What a scam!!! im dissappointed in green valley car wash for having this retail outlet on their property. He approaches u and says that u have a white mark on your glass that is considered a broken window and he will fix it with your insurance and if you dont it will completely break through when you go through the car wash. So i show him my insurance and he cant take it. He'll say ill fix it for $55. Then when you say no. He says he'll do it for $10 that no managers are around and not to say anything.. So i give him $10 to get rid of him. I go inside and see his booth it says if broke have to be fixed before car wash. Well i go back and he's out there with a smuck on his face. I asked him when are u going to fix the break he says when it comes through the car wash. I said i want my $10 back . he slowly dug into his pocket and gave it to me. So when i go to pay for my car wash of course they say it doesnt belong to them. They dont want to have any part of it. Its a renter that rents out of their location.

Excellent Car wash and Customer Service
Posted by misty21492 on 03/29/2007
I was going to sell my car and had it detailled by Green Valley Hand Car Wash. The interior looked great and the paint looked unbelievable! I had paint overspray on my car and it all came off without hurting the paint. All the little scratches and swirls were gone. They washed my car by hand with big wool mitts. No machines I highly recommend Green Valley Hand Car Wash.

Green Valley Hand Car Wash

They do a good job overall but still not 100% for me. They do a horrible job of vacuuming and I always notice my front windshield is not as clean as I would like it. Also, they never clean the middle or center console properly. However, they do a good job on the outside of the car everytime!

Great car wash
Posted by carol c. on 10/19/2005
We get our car washed at Green Valley carwash about twice a month. They do an excellent job and if your note pleased with the wash they will redo the trouble spot over again. We only had to tell them about a missed area once since we have been going there. They have many people working, so your in and out quickly. Of course their not open when its raiining, but they otherwise have great hours so you won't have a problem getting the wash done. They also sell air fresheners in their shop and some gadgets for your car. Try them out, I think you'll be glad you did.

Green Valley Hand Car Wash
Posted by David S. on 08/04/2005
Green Valley Hand Car Wash is great. I brought my dirty car here one day and it came out looking nice and clean once again. As the name of the company states, it is completely washed by hand. They seemed to know what they were doing, making sure to wash every single part of the car, including the floor pads. They did a great job and I would take my car there again anytime.
