        For 40 years High Halo Boarding Kennels has been serving the boarding needs of pet owners in Wichita and the surrounding areas. Our goal has been, and forever will ever be, to ensure your pets security and comfort. The Kennel employs a professional and experienced staff. They are trained to give your dog or cat all the pampering, love, and attention they need to feel at home. Built in 1967, using the Purina model kennel plans, the business is family owned and operated. The manager and her family, as well as the owner, live on the premises to give added security to your pet's care.         Love the fact that they are there to care for pets at all times! I have a dog that is deathly afraid of thunderstorms. She requires medication when it storms. This left with me with not to many options when I went out of town. Most places close their doors and leave for the night. I found out through a friend that someone is near the kennel at all times. I decided to leave me pet at High Halo. Thunderstorms rolled in during the middle of the night while I was away, but she received her medication right before the storms hit. If she does not get her medicine she will chew on herself until the hair is gone. When I picked her up she was in great condition. This is the place for me!

        I boarded my dog over the Thanksgiving holiday, because my vet was full. It was a great place and my pet seemed to enjoy it. It was cheaper than my vet and more outside time. Going back for Christmas!

        I'll never take my dog back there ever again and warn pet owners to beware. Things aren't what they seem. We recently boarded our dog along with several other members of the family's dogs while we were all on vacation, when we picked up our dog not only did he look horrible but he smelled even worse. Plus everyone that boarded their dogs brought home sick dogs. Never again

        I thought this place was well maintained and very nice. The workers were delightful and my dog seemed happy when I picked him up. I went during a time when they were closed but saw some vehicles there so I attempted to pick up my dog. I think I scared one of the workers while I was walking around the property which alarmed the owners. The wife was very pleasant and understanding while the husband was a complete jerk. He would not even talk to me other than walking away from me and accusing me of trying to jump their fences. So all in all, wonderful place, just don't upset the husband. He can be grouchy:) thank goodness the wife is sensible, because if it weren't for her I would not go back solely because of her husband!
