Buckner International is a multi-service agency funded in 1879. It is dedicated to the restoration and healing of individuals and the family. In carrying out these services, Buckner adheres to Christian principles, which are ministered with professional competence. In all its operations and services, Buckner holds to the policies, principles and doctrines of the Baptist faith. Buckner International provides and array of services, responding to the needs of children and families living in the United States and around the world. We have been in the business of making life better for children and families for nearly 130 years. Buckner responds through humanitarian aid, volunteer mission opportunities, community enrichment and prevention programs, an international network of residential foster care and transitional living services, domestic and international adoption, and support programs for children living in orphanages in other countries.
