Blaine Kennels and Pet Supplies is owned and operated by Dale and Colleen Westerberg. June of 1988 Dale and I opened Blaine Kennels. Dale was still working as the manager of Country Club markets and I was selling encyclopedia Britannica to make ends meet. We had 2 little poodles and never wanted to leave them. We'd go up north to fish and we had to hurry up and eat, whenever we went out so the dogs wouldn't get too hot in the car. We'd be out in the boat and could hear the dogs barking in the cabin. I knew that other people had the same problem we did and that is how it all started.
