AHS bases its leadership on recognizing that homeowners want prompt, reliable and thorough service when a major home system fails. That explains why:
*The four AHS service centers nationwide handle nearly 50,000 calls daily, or more than 17 million per year.
*AHS has a national contractor network of nearly 8000 pre-screened, licensed[i] contractors and access to an additional 14,000 contractors they use when needed.
*The AHS network performed more than 2.4 million service calls in 2004 in pursuit of its mission to fix homeowners' problems.
To ensure that homeowners receive the best possible service, AHS continually evaluates its contractors on quality, cost and professionalism by surveying homeowners. Those contractors who rank highest in the surveys are rewarded with more business and home dispatches. Those who perform poorly receive less business or are removed from the network.
AHS devotes itself to helping homeowners plan now, save later and eliminate worries in an uncertain world.
