Healing Choices Massage & Tai Chi

Carol Rudd is a Nationally Certified Asian Bodywork Therapist, (Dipl ABT), formally trained at the Healing Arts Center for Asian bodywork in Menomonie, WI, and a Wisconsin Registered Massage Therapist, (#2129-046). She established Healing Choices in 2001 offering AMMA Therapy, a form of Asian bodywork or massage, a holistic system of healing that utilizes massage, nutrition, herbal remedies and stress management strategies to bring balance back to the body, Amma works specifically on the energy pathways. The intent of an Amma treatment to support the person's positive patterns and help minimize any negative patterns, bringing balance back to the energy body and promoting healing. In 2005, Carol added Hot Stone to her Amma Therapy treatments. Hot Stones gently warm and soften muscles while deepening relaxation. While not for everyone, Hot Stone can make your Amma treatment even better.

Carol is also a licensed Tai Chi instructor through the Healing Arts Center. She has trained over 8 years and has been teaching since 2002. She opened her school for Tai Chi and Qi Gong in 2003 when she moved to 2711 Pleasant St, Eau Claire. Tai Chi, a martial art, is also considered a healing practice because relaxation occurs as one quiets the mind, by focusing on breath and posture and moves through the different postures. It is thought of a thinking person's meditation. Movements are without strain and provide toning and exercise for the whole body. Tai Chi is a pleasurable experience.
