    Exceptional

    Best dim sum in town

I've been going to China Jade for probably close to 20 years, it's by far the best dim sum I've found in Denver.

    Very Good

Pretty decent Dum Sum/Southern Chinese cusines for the midwest

Good service (especially if you speak Canotnese). Food is tolerable, no dum sum charts but way better than Kingland. Not bad for being in the midwest (yes, colorado is part of the midwest if you not from the flatlands).

Best Chinese Place in the Denver Area

    Posted by zenmtnman on 08/25/2006

First off, this is a Cantonese establishment. Cantonese cuisine is known for Dim Sum (Yum Cha), and seafood dishes. This place has consistently wonderful food, and though the atmosphere is a little dingy and run down, I have learned over time that those places usually have the best food. As long as the focus is in the kitchen, I don't really care what the front of the house looks like. Service has always been great, and we've become regulars over the last two years. We're always welcomed and well taken care of. You can also call in for take out, and can also get bulk roast pork or duck to take home. The dim sum is wonderful, and served 7 days a week. Chow Fun, Hong Kong Style Wonton Soup, Stir Fried Egg and Tomato, and their Brisket and Tendon hotpot is sure to please. This is not a place for egg foo young or sweet and sour pork. You can get authentic Cantonese food (whole steamed fish, Am Choy, salt and pepper shrimp) at a very reasonable price, and brush up on your cantonese language skills. Don't be afraid to experiment and try something new, you'll probably like it, and also, don't be afraid to ask for something you've had somewhere else if it's not on the menu, they'll be happy to try and make it for you. Located conveniently off 6th Ave, on Federal, just past the intersection of Alameda heading south, in the Far East Plaza.

very homey and great for kids. Try their wonton soup and their dim sum! Not a place for business.
