    Sat in lobby for 20 min

    I paid *in advance* for a diagnostic analysis at the Taylorsville, UT location and when I got there the staff had no clue we were scheduled for that day - they apparently were over-booked. 25 minutes of waiting later, my 8 year old son was admitted to start his testing. When we came for the conference, again we waited at least 15 minutes for the director to go over his results which were difficult to interpret. I couldn't see any of his work, his writing, his responses - just scores - no context to reference to his abilities. For all I know they could have made up the results.

    Mrs. B and Katy have been fabulous to work with. My child has mild Asperger's and he is definitely a behavior problem. However, they are willing to work with him to help him be successful. They have done an excellent job! Thank you!!!

    Last year my son was in the third grade his teacher told me that he was behind in reading and math. He never wanted to read out loud and I could tell the grades he was getting made him upset. She told me that if I went to Sylvan that they would tell me exactly why and set up a plan just for him. When we went to sylvan they told me that they could help and they did. He went to Sylvan for six months. I met with Dana and Nacy the directors all the time. They talked to his teacher and helped with his homework. Now he loves to read and can do his math homework all by himself. My son is now in the fourth grade and is getting A's and B's. I highly reccomend Sylvan.

    We've done Huntington, Score, Kumon, and in-home tutoring. We're happiest with Sylvan. Alex never wants to stop going. He wants to go to Cal-Berkeley, and a lot of tutors at the Walnut Creek Sylvan are from Cal, and he is just getting the best role models and encouragement, and it has changed his attitude completely.     From our first visit, my wife and I knew Sylvan was the right place for our granddaughter. Mr. Jeff Smith is more like a family friend. He and the staff truly care about helping the kids and it shows in the results. My granddaughter hated school at the end of last year. Now she can't wait for the first day of school. Sylvan really works.
