Delicious Wedding Cake

Working with Mary Lou was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are from Cleveland and could not come to Florida until the week before our wedding. Mary Lou was more than accomodating. She set up a cake tasting for us 5 days before our wedding, which no other bakeries would allow us to do. We picked three different flavors of cake for the three tiers. Each flavor was absolutely delicious. My personal favorites are the raspberry almond and the fresh strawberries and custard! We really enjoyed working with Cake Designs by Mary Lou and give our highest recommendation!

When another bakery failed to keep appointments and return phone calls regarding my sister's wedding cake, we happened upon a magnificent baker. Cake Designs By Mary Lou saved the day. Not only did Mary Lou deliver a beautiful wedding cake, she delivered the most amazing cake we had ever eaten. Like many of the other reviewers, I went back for seconds. Almost a year after my sister's wedding, I started planning my 40th birthday party. There was no question as to who I was going to contact to make the birthday cake. Mary Lou was so easy to work with and again she delivered a beautiful and delicious cake. Enough can't be said about Cake Designs by Mary Lou. We highly recommend her and will continue to use her services.

Exceptional Affordable Cakes

Our Twilight Birthday cakes not only looked amazing, but tasted amazing!! Mary Lou captured everything a cake should be . She exceeded all of our expectations. We chose to have four different cakes all in different delicious flavors. Mary Lou pays exceptional attention to detail. And above all, there wasn't one piece of cake left over! ...not because there wasn't enough, but rather because our guests were going back for two and three pieces!! I will be using her shortly for a baby shower and my Wedding in June.

BEST CAKE WE'VE EVER HAD!

The cake we ordered from Cake Designs by Mary Lou was out of this world delicious. Everyone at the wedding raved about it. We heard over and over that it was by far the best cake anyone had ever had. People asked for seconds at the wedding. We served the leftover cake at a party the next day and people came back for THIRDS! We are so glad we had Mary Lou make extra for the next day. My husband hid a big piece for himself to enjoy once everyone was gone! How lucky we were to happen on Mary Lou. She is a delight to work with and so easy going. She helped make the wedding day seamless. You cannot go wrong with her. The cake was amazing!

Mary Lou came in at the last minute to save the day with the ABSOLUTE MOST GORGEOUS wedding cake in the world!!! It was beyond beautiful!! The details were amazing. The flavors outstanding. And she is wonderful to work with. It was so much better than I could ever have imagined. I'd recommend her every day! She came recommended to me as "the best", and she really is!!!

I highly recommend using Mary Lou! I showed her a picture of the cake I wanted and she was able to make it look even better than the picture. The cake came out beautiful!!! Not only was it beautiful but it was delicious, everyone kept asking me where I had the cake made because it was amazing! Mary Lou is friendly, reliable and professional!!!

Mary Lou was introduced to me by my husband a few months before our wedding. When she found out that were getting married not only did she insist that she made our cake but she knew exactly what to make! My husband had grown up with her boys and apparently he had a special cake that reminded him of his childhood. Mary lou was able to capture that same cake with some extra flair for the wedding... the taste was incredible, cake and icing worked perfect together and she didn't even mind when i called her a million times the weeks before the wedding!!!! It was awesome... i HIGHLY reccoment Cake design by mary lou for any occasion!!!!

Mary Lou not only designed a BEAUTIFUL wedding cake but also baked a cake that melted in your mouth!! The icing was delicious and light as well. Compliments keeping pouring in to me, the bride's mother.
Additionally, Mary Lou took on the task of creating a cake of a deer head...she did it and it was spectacular (moreso for the hunting enthusiasts).
Mary Lou was gifted with this huge talent. I plan to use Mary Lou from this day forward!!! I'm sooooo delighted she was the chosen designer/baker for my daughter's wedding cake........
I guarantee you'll receive the best!!!!!!!!!!
