The River Merrimac Bar & Grille is located in the heart of historic Newburyport (birthplace of the United States Coast Guard) within the restored mill building of The Tannery. The restaurant boasts two floors of casual fine-dining, an extensive menu and wine list, daily specials and fireside seating with views of the Merrimac River leading to Plum Island. Our Full dinner menu and new tavern menu is available on both floors with a large bar upstairs that is open every day of the week.
