  • If you live in the Twin Cities area, you can receive a free ID tag by visiting the Minnesota Valley Humane Society.
  • Hot Dog, Cool Cat, and Home Alone Cards
  • Education for Pet Parents and Pets
  • The Minnesota Valley Humane Society offers the following classes to the community.
  • Canine U Obedience training for the family pet
  • Classes meet for one hour a week for 4-6 weeks.
  • Pet Parent Roundtable Discussions.
  • These classes are free and last approximately one hour.
  • CARE Seminars
  • Classes are approximately two hours long and are scheduled quarterly.
  • Behavior help We'll help you be a better pet parent with our online Fact Sheets, free classes.
  • Volunteer Activities
  • Over 180 volunteers donate time and talents to MVHS.
  • Adoption and Surrender
  • We're very successful finding homes for homeless animals.
