- If you live in the Twin Cities area, you can receive a free ID tag by visiting the Minnesota Valley Humane Society.

- Education for Pet Parents and Pets
- The Minnesota Valley Humane Society offers the following classes to the community.
- Canine U Obedience training for the family pet
- Classes meet for one hour a week for 4-6 weeks.
- Pet Parent Roundtable Discussions.
- These classes are free and last approximately one hour.
- CARE Seminars
- Classes are approximately two hours long and are scheduled quarterly.
- Behavior help We'll help you be a better pet parent with our online Fact Sheets, free classes.
- Volunteer Activities
- Over 180 volunteers donate time and talents to MVHS.
- Adoption and Surrender
- We're very successful finding homes for homeless animals.
