    Incompetent Doctor

    Posted by Concenrnedpatient on 10/16/2009

This doctor clearly is not competent in diagnosis, and is not willing to read charts of he patients!!..Very dangerous, she made life threatening mistakes!!!! All I can say is listen to the others who have written and run!!!.. We had 3 interactions with her and she made serious mistakes all 3 times, then lied about it and tried to cover it up!!!

Dr Dar should not be able to practice medicine!

    Posted by SCguy101 on 07/06/2009

All I can say is one word, RUN!!!!!!! This is not a good doctor and is rude. He did not help me and sent me home in severe pain with a prescription for IB Prophen. I did not know what they were because i am not a pain doc or in the medical field. I went home and took the IBP and found out I could get it at Wal-mart in a lower dose. I spent $200.00 on seeing Doctor Dar for pain management and he gave me a over the counter medication. I got a second opinion and was placed on a pain plan with the right medication by Doctor Avila who was great! DO NOT see Doctor Dar he has no bedside manner and should be a dermatologist not a pain doc, he could care less if you are in pain and will not prescribe you any pain medicine. He does not care about you, only the money you give him! I even met a 70 year old woman that saw Doctor Dar that stated he did not even give her medication when she had a sever pelvis fracture. NO THANKS. Doctor Dar if you ever read this, please change you're ways and remember why you became a Medical Doctor. You should also fire all you're front desk staff, they were like talking to multiple walls, were rude and did not seem all too bright. They need some sensitivity training! Doctor Dar's Practice is a JOKE!!!!!!

    Exceptional

    Had great experience

    Posted by sedgecomb on 07/13/2008

I recently had a scope by Dr Dar and I must say that the prep experience was the worse part. Dr Dar came in prior to doing the scope and her assistance announced her present and within ten minutes, I was iwheeled to the recuperation area. She was late in doing my procedure, but encountered some issues with prior patients, and I totally do understand that. After a little while she came in to tell my husband and I the results and spent as much time as needed - she answered my questions/concerns. She is undoubtedly a very busy doctor, therefore, I sometime I understand having to wait to see her, but when she does spend time with you, you do get the facts and she makes you feel comfortable. I'm sorry that she has received a few bad reviews, because I have not experienced anything bad with office visits or the procedure.. As a matter fact, I had put off this procedure for three years and I'm glad that I was referred to Dr Dar.

    RUN THE OTHER WAY

    Posted by kstrike on 07/07/2008

I WOULD NOT LET THIS WOMAN SCOPE MY DOG. I never saw her before my procedure, I only saw her nurse. Apparently this is how they do things. On the day of my scope, she said two words to me and I was out. IMMEDIATLY upon awakening I knew something was wrong.SHE KNCKED 4 OF MY BOTTOM TEETH LOOSE. I now have to wear a splint and hope I get to keep my teeth. I am still sick also. Her Partner is of no help either............Actually rude. RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN

    Stay Away!

    Posted by orthomed13 on 04/01/2008

I waited 1 1/2 hours to be seen for a 4:45 appointment. I showed up at 4:26. After her nurse took my history, she finally came in. Two hours now? She came and the first thing said was ?Hi I?m doctor Darr; sit down in that chair my neck is killing me at the end of the day. Thanks doc, I was wondering how you were felling and it?s very nice to meet you too? She proceeded to ask questions, knock, knock, her nurse walks into the room. Dr. Darr you have a call. Dr Darr says transfer her in here. She stays on the phone for roughly 10 minutes talking to someone about her back office problems and how difficult it is get someone hired. Literally complaining to the other person on the phone about how poorly someone else, I guess her current back office person is doing. Blah, blah, blah the conversation goes. My wife and I look at each other thinking we are on the MTV show boiling point. She wants to get up and leave. I asked her to hang on we are not staying. She gets off the phone and I ask her Dr Darr may I say something? She says what? I say, I can not believe what just happened here and I think I?m going to see someone else. Again with a discussed look, why? I began to explain how rude we thought it was that she would take a personal call and discuss the things she did right in front of a brand new patient and his wife whom she should be giving all of her attention to as she takes down my history. ?Well if that?s what you want to do go right ahead, but I have a very big problem that needed attention. My question was did that very big problem have anything to do with me, Dr Darr? Her reply, No what do you want to do? I said how about an apology for starters she said no? My wife and I got up and excused ourselves. I have never been so rudely treaded especially by a so called surgeon? Stay Away!

    So not helpful

    Posted by maverick74 on 07/31/2007

After spending time and lots of money...I'm still not feeling well. Made an emergency room trip after being almost ignored by Dr. Dar. Still need help but certainly not going back to that office.
