Sonoma Grille is new find of mine, located in downtown Pittsburgh. The food, the wine, and the staff could not offer more. The menu is varied but always delicious thanks to the super fresh ingredients--Californian cuisine fused with classic French flair. There are also lots of vegetarian items. It is hard to choose one meal so consider ordering the smaller-portioned multi-entre selection. Or you can forget choosing altogether and let the chef prepare you a special meal of his choice. This is a great solution to the choosing dilemma. Remember to save room for dessert. The in-house pastry chef keeps it interesting. For groups, the dolce sampler is the way to go. After selecting what you want to eat, you will be even more impressed by the wine list that offers tons of selections by the glass. This restaurant will definitely keep you coming back for more!
