Coleman House Bed & Breakfast Inn

I have never availed myself of the B&B service but do dine there frequently. With out a doubt, the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. Other offerings include at least one other meat or fish and veggies and salads. Just like Mom's. REALLY. Serve yourself and all you can eat of things that remind you of the "good ole days". Everything homemade right there on the premises!! Sunday afternoons are a special treat but lunch thru-out the week always includes fried chicken. My mouth is watering right now!!!!

I didn't stay at the Inn but I have eaten at the restaurant a few times and the buffet was delicious. I especially liked the grape salad. Price was slightly high and the selection low but the taste and quality of food was excellent.

Staying here was definately the worst experience I have ever had when staying at any establishment. The owner was quite rude and must of forgotten all about Southern Hospitality. The only nice words we recieved while staying there were from the employees, but the problem is that most of them leave around 3 or 4. You are then stuck with your ungrateful host. I don't like staying anywhere that I am not welcome. You thought she would have appreciated our business, seeing as how we visit this town on a regular basis. We really thought we would find a nice place to stay on our visits, but we were greatly disappointed. Her very nasty attitude has caused us to look other places for our stays.





We now frequent another bed and breakfast in the area and I must say we are very pleased.
