Things can drastically chang in one year!

After having a great meal at this place exactly one year ago we decided to go back and take my inlaws and three toddlers for what I thought was going to be a wonderful dinner last night. Boy was I wrong! To start there was a poor supply of beverages offered. We would ask for things like, iced tea, gingerale, 7-up even draft beer and the waiter kept saying, sorry we are out of that. (And this is a restaurant/bar). We ended up ordering 2 plain cheese pizzas and my inlaws each ordered a platter and the food did not reach our table until more than one hour later, and the place was not busy at all. When the pizza finally came out it looked like a burnt, dried up piece of cardboard that had been sitting back in the kitchen for a while and the two platters were only luke warm. And when my $2.50 soda was empty and the ice had melted a little the water tasted like iron and made me sick to my stomach. For such a neat little place with such an extensive Italian menu it sure was a negative dining experience. While I wanted to impress my inlaws, I was only mortified sitting there with them as they shook their heads in disgust.

    Fair

    good food, reasonably priced, but...

My wife and I have eaten here about five times. The resturant is always uncomfortabley cold, even in summer because the air conditioning is turned way down. The food is above average, but they are often out of things, once they had no spaghetti. Tonight the did not have lasagna and they ran out of bread as well. There was no Cabernet, so Chianti served. The wait staff is helpful but untrained, they should tell you before you look at the menu what is not available. This is a shame, but I do not think I will go back.
