Go there only if you want to be overcharged and not happy...

Only reason they have any stars from me is based on past expeirence with one nice service rep. I went there for 6 years based on his service, open on Saturdays and that "5-Star" rating.... Over the past 12 months I have had numerous issues with my 2002 Jeep. I went in for maintaince and left with a quote for $2900 more work. I also had to pay for the diagnostic tests. So deflated with them, I started to call around. Guess what? Got all that done and more for under $1400. I didn't have to pay anyone else for tests. That alone says it all. I hating thinking how much of my hard earned money I have wasted on them....

Tried to get me to spend $1000 on unnecessary repairs

    Posted by YipKanker on 03/19/2008

Stay away from the NW Jeep service department... they are corrupt. I had read that they might be trouble on another site, but figured there were a lot of positive reviews also so I took a chance. Don't make the same mistake I did. I went to NW Jeep because they were a five-star rated dealer (rated by Jeep). I asked them to give my vehicle a thorough check for any problems. They came back saying it only need minor work, but later called me back and said they had "discovered" additional needed repairs, including $1000 for a leaking head gasket. This surprised me since the vehicle ran great with no signs of trouble. I couldn't afford everything at once so figured I would have a little work done for now then get a 2nd opinion. I ended up getting a 2nd and a 3rd opinion as well. The head gasket was a total scam. When the other mechanics came back saying there was no problem, I then specifically asked them to go back and check the head gasket. Again no problem (both times). One mechanic even showed me how to check it. There were smaller bogus estimates from NW Jeep, but the $1000 was the major one that they foolishly documented. I guess they thought I was the kind of person who could afford to pay it without questioning it. I realize dishonest mechnics are a dime a dozen (or more like $12,000 a dozen if you think of the cash outlay in using them). You would think in the internet age it would be more profitable for scam artist mechanics to just be honest, but I guess they haven't figured that out yet.

    Exceptional

    Excellent Buying & Service!

I first looked at the Jeep Liberty on New Years Eve and quickly fell in love! I came back to purchase my Jeep on January 2. Much to my amazement - no pressure! The sales manager gave me the bottom line price with payments etc. We were in and out of the dealership in less then 2 hours! Thank you Sam, you are fantastic! We have since purchased my husbands Jeep from there with virtually the same experience. We have had service to maintain our Jeep's a number of times and could not be more impressed with Kris Swenson. He has been honest, fair and explains everything in detail. They notify us when necessary maintenance is due. It's just a great place to shop and maintain your vehicle! If you can ever get my Liberty away from me, I would head straight back to this dealer for a replacement. Thank you NW Jeep for being an honest, reputable dealerships to do business with, you have earned our trust & respect.

To follow up with the unpleased user post, I will say, they give you comment cards when you have service done. Fill it out, leave a callback #, and comment about your experience. If it was poor, they _will_ call you back. They had a leaky seal after I had an oil change done once. I complained and did get a callback.
