    Shows Some Potential

The Loews shows some potential to be a good hotel. The service is good, but the building needs updating. The first item on their agenda should be soundproofing, including the doors and the rooms.

    Sound Problems

    Posted by udalum on 12/16/2007

We stayed here for one night. Unfortunately, there was a Christmas party that moved upstairs to our neighbor's room. We called the front desk, who called security. It was a little quieter for about an hour, and then it started back up again. The Loews has some major soundproofing problems, and should assign party rooms away from families. The room doors make a loud sound when shut. The hallway decor was a bit dated. The room was nice and comfortable. The beds and bedding were nice. We stayed on the 10th floor, where we received a free breakfast. It was very good. The service was good, and non-intrusive. The Loews could be an exceptional hotel with some improvements.

I really loved this hotel for our honeymoon. We didnt have long to wait before our honeymoon. Flew out the next day...but it was really gerat to have such personal service in our suite. Late checkout was great too for us...I highly recommend Loews for your honeymoon or any special night. Be sure to tell them your special needs and they'll help you out! The bar is great late night.

nashville is lacking in their world class hotels for sure. but the loews hotel is a solid operation. rooms were quite nice - what you'd expect for the price.

Great place to stay in Music City

    Posted by laylaunetn on 05/09/2006

Nice place to stay in Nashville. I enjoyed the room service very much...specifically the Cobb Salad....excellent. And the room service was fast too. Very quiet and nicely appointed. My one problem is charging for the internet...that should be comped. I absolutely LOVED the bathroom amenities...especially the massage shower. REally nice touch. I opted to order up a massage en room...from downstairs....I called ahead...and it was divine. All in all...great comfort and quiet. You can't go wrong with the Cobb Salad, the location, the beds (AMAZING BEDS TOO) and Ruth Chris' steakhouse downstairs in the lobby. The bar on the top floor is really nice....as is the other one in the lobby...nice touch. I'd stay there again....because I used Priceline...:) They're pet friendly as well.

Helped make our honeymoon that much better

Posted by Stacey D. on 10/24/2005

My wife and I tried to plan our wedding for months. Finally, one day, we said "Saturday, we get married!". It was, of course, Friday. We packed quickly, ran to a local chapel the next morning, and got married. When we returned to Nashville to find a hotel room for a short honeymoon, we realized that we had gotten married during Fanfare weekend (or whatever they call it now). Not only did Loew's find a room for us, though, they found us a fabulous room. The bed was the best I've ever laid in, and you can order one from them, apparently- and the prices are relatively inexpensive. We'll be buying our next bed there. The rooms were marvelous. There was a private lounge where we were able to get free drinks and snacks regularly, served by one of the staff, with comfortable seating, all the local papers, national papers, magazines, etc. There were multiple places to eat right in the hotel, including some of the nicest restaurants in the city. There's even an art gallery. It was perfect. The only thing I missed was that I wished they had rooms available with a jetted or jacuzzi-style tub. Definitely worth the stay.

    Loews Knows!

    Posted by neurohoodlum on 05/16/2005

This hotel is the best all around in Nashville. I'm from Memphis but visit Nashville often, and I've stayed at the Loews many times. I have stayed at other hotels occasionally because of special rates, location, etc., but the Loews has every other hotel in Nashville beat! I love the Loews and will continue to frequent it!

    Home Sweet Loews

    Posted by kittykatarina on 08/13/2004

This hotel is a treat! During our 4-day stay, the staff remembered us by name both day and night; the concierge staff were some of the best I've ever worked with! The musical references "hidden" around the hotel were fun to look for and the lobby jukebox had an element of fun that was very representative of Nashville. It probably helped that we were visiting in June (Vanderbilt University was quiet) but we can't wait to come back!

    Business Amenities

    Posted by vonda1969 on 05/01/2004

I live in the Nashville area and I am an accountant. I stay here a couple of times per year to complete yearly projects. This has to be the best hotel by far I have ever stayed in. Service is absolutely the best I have ever experienced. They allow pets too! They give my golden special treatment as well! The only con I have is the charges on the business services. They are not in line with other hotels. High speed internet services are free in other hotels and the charge here is a bit extreme. To receive or send faxes are as well. You pay for all the niceties you receive and this should be part of it. These charges will make me think twice before staying with them on my business trips.

    Romance in the City!

    Posted by kelgon77 on 12/22/2002

This hotel is so romantic! Everything is so luxurious. This is my second stay and it was even better than the first. You cannot possibly beat the great service here. The real grass in the lobby adds a great comedic touch to a seriously classy hotel.
