Charlie and Mary Ellen Rehpelz, affectionately known as Mr. and Mrs. Charlie, established Charlie's Seafood Restaurant across the street from its present location.

For over five decades, Charlie's has been providing Virginia Beach residents, as well as its tourists, with good quality seafood at affordable prices. Charlie's has won numerous awards for its famous she crab soup, a must try for any newcomer.

We sell soup to go and also ship anywhere in the United States.

We have been in business continuously since 1946 and are now in the fourth generation of the Rehpelz family. As our family continues to grow, we hope to continue to serve you.
