5 Stars - The Real Deal!!
Posted by joe48 on 10/07/2009
This place is the most authentic Italian restaurant in the entire Twin Cities, not the mention that it?s also quite romantic and has the best wine list around. If you looking for the real deal, try Arezzo.

Fabulous Restaurant
Posted by QueenShinequa on 12/08/2008
This was my first time at Arezzo. This place was recommended by a friend. I didn't make a reservation, but went early on a Saturday (5 p.m.). Lovely and prompt service. The place got busy between 6-7 p.m., but our service didn't deteriorate. Appetizers were clamari (that was melt-in-your-mouth tender) and spinach in olive oil, garlic and pine nuts. Just enough garlic to flavor the spinach, but not overpower the dish. My entree was a pork loin chop stuffed with apples, italian ham and cheese on top of garlic mashed sweet potato and a cream sauce. Wonderful! Portion was exceptional, very filling, tender and moist. For dessert, three of us share the tiramisu. It was a huge portion. Although it was delicious, we couldn't finish it. This wasn't "done up" tiramisu, (I've had tiramisu at other gourmet Italian restaurants where they put orange zest in the dessert, which overpowered the dish). This was the traditional, well done tiramisu! This fine fare was priced right. Nice restaurant for friends, family or dates.

Great Authentic Italian
Posted by japser on 08/15/2008
I love this place. I have been a manager with a small local italian restaurant company, and Arezzo was always on my shortlist of restaurants to watch. Always authentic Italian, not the waterdowned Olive Garden Variety, and cozy but a place you would expect to find on Restaurant Row off Broadway in New York.

Best Pizza & Fresh Pasta !!
Posted by TCFood21 on 03/10/2008
I have never written a review for any Restaurant before but I do read them on occasion. Arrezzo in my opinion is the best Italian Restaurant by far in the Twin Cities. From there fresh pasta that is made everyday to the perfect Neopolitan style pizza it is our families favorite restaurant. The only reason why I make my opinion known is because I saw 4 bad reviews all within 1 day of each other, obviously one table of customers are on a mission to get some attention from the restaurant. Why not just ask for the manager and get it straightened out rather than to air your dirty laundry for everyone to see? This Restaurant is a hidden jewel in the Twin Cities!

Always a Great Time!!!
Posted by cityviews on 03/10/2008
My husband and I always have a great time and wonderful food at Arezzo! We stopped in last weekend and tried the Ravioli on the specials with sea bass and shrimp. It was amazing! My husband really enjoyed his salmon, but he always does (orders it every time). We look forward to having my sister-in-law's birthday there soon. She loves Tiramisu and I think Arezzo has the best.

Wow

We first came to try the pizza on a recommendation from a friend. We've been back several times and ordered just about everything on the menu. My wife loves the fact that (in stark contrast to most other restaurants) their dishes are not doused with oils and sauces, which lets the incredients really come to life. The pasta dishes have been great, and again, the pizza is absolutely terrific. My only complaint is the summer traffic can be annoying if you are dining outside.

Finally...true Italian!!!!
Posted by anotheropinion on 06/14/2007
My fellow reviewer guzzirider said it all. I too am 100% Italian and only ate authentic food my entire childhood. Arezzo dishes bring me back to dinner and my Nonna's! She too was from Northern Italy and Arezzo get's it. Thank you thank you, thank you! All dishes are great, the gnocci is very good, the risotto is perfect, ahh I love it all. I also love to order the fetuccini and sausage pasta dish yet substitude penne for the fetuchini. Great stuff.

Great Italian Food
Posted by dshlomes on 03/24/2007
I went to Arezzo for an anniversary, the food was fantastic and unlike many Italian restaurants I got what I paid for. The Restaurants looks were very appealing and other than some of the tables being a little close together, it had a romantic setting. Overall a great place to go on a date and enjoy some great food.

True Italian Experience? This is it!
Posted by gumps on 05/07/2006
After having traveled to Italy, I have to say this is the closest dining experience I have had in the Twin Cities. Italians make an occasion out of a meal, it is not the quick in and out of most American restaurants. Thus for those reviewers that were complaining about the slow service, I think this was more because they were expecting a typical American experience. They were very helpful with wine selections, questions about the menu and making accomodations as necessary.
As to the food, it was excellent. Nothing was "bland" in my opinion and all of the ingredients were fresh (yes, especially the tomatoes). Though it may not be the best Italian I have had in the cities, it is pretty darn close. The wine recommendation was superb (so much so that we went out and bought a case of the wine after our experience).
