    POOR customer service!!!

    The catering department at the Mondrian is incompetent and lazy! Last week we hosted a charity event at the Sky Bar unknown to us the catering manager did not schedule a bartender or serves for the event. Our group tried on several occasions to reach the catering director and manger via their mobile phones and the front desk, but they were both in a meeting. The only assistance they offered was a bar back up who could not mix cocktails. After 45 minutes into our event, with about 30 guests waiting, a bartender finally arrived. At this point we still had not heard from anyone from the catering department. The event started at 5 p.m. not once did anyone come up to us to ask us how we wanted table set up, who the event serves were going to be, who would be our site contact, who the bartenders were, absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, we had to sweep the bar and clean all the canopies before I guest arrived. NOT RECOMMENDED TO HOST ANY EVENT THERE!!! Also make sure you know what they charge your credit card. Our group had two unauthorized charges on our credit card.

    If you enjoy a great lobby and restaurants, this place is for you. If you're looking for clean rooms with honest service, security and sense of well being, definitely not the place for you.

    I was so blown away with this resort! They have the best of everything and the service is exceptional. With 2 great bars, an amazing restaurant, oh and I can't forget about the pool (so great) on site I hardly had to leave the property at all to find something fun to do. the vibe was amazing and the people were great and the hotel is located in downtown Scottsdale right in the middle of everything. I would highly reccomend this property, i had the best time i think I've ever had while on vacation!

    The staff exceeds expectations. They make you feel as you are the most important person there and that you are promptly taken care of. Car service to drive you local places. Workout facility clean - and private tv's on aerobic machines. You will love your stay here and be appreciative at the attention you receive by the staff. You are within walking distance to great nightclubs, food and old town. But you don't have to walk - hotel will get you there. Highly recommend.

    Rooms were uber comfortable with fabulous bedding! JBar was lots of fun, once the local wannabes left. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Food in the restaurant was pretty good for Scottsdale. Although interior design was unique and admirable, the exterior certainly looks like a refurbished Motel 6 with a bad paint job. But who cares? You are not there to stare at the exterior! The only real complaint I have was the drunken 20 year olds running down the halls screaming after last call. Staff needs to recognize that if they are going to market their bar to locals - they need to watch the locals leave after last call......
