    This coffeehouse near Drake University rivals Zanzibars for the best coffee in Des Moines. The quality of the coffee and expresso is stellar, and their variety of mixed coffees from coffee shakes to flavored lattes are wonderful as well. If you care for lunch options, their pastries come from local bakeries, and thier menu options are fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for conversation, lunch, or a place to chill.

    Mars Cafe is a definitely worth a visit for all locals and visitors passing through. Their espresso is excellent, and they have plenty of tasty snacks and menu items in case you get hungry.
