    Very Good

    Great Views

If you're here during the winter skating is the best part of Millennium Park. It's free if you have your own skates or rentals are somewhere around $10 with no time limit. It's also a great place in the summer, there is Heaven's Gate (or the AT&T Bean), paths through the garden, fountain (with electronic images) you can walk through. The park vendors are very expensive so it's best to stop by Walgreen's across the street and get some snacks if you're planning on laying out in the grassy section of the Orchestra seatting.

    Exceptional

    Chicago's Prettiest Parkscape

    Posted by coast2coast on 08/01/2008

Just north of the fabulous Art Institute of Chicago in downtown, Millenniumm Park hosts some the prettiest parkscape in Chicago. Listen to concerts on the Great Lawn at the Jay Pritzer Pavilion, skate at the McCormick Tribune Plaza and Ice Rink, splash around the Crown Fountain (where water flows down video screens a few stories high) and wander through "Cloud Gate," where you must clap and make a wish under "The Bean" (one of the world's largest, shiniest sculptures).
