Abo's is good pizza! The slices are hugemongous, and classic NY style (gotta fold 'em in half, peoples!). They also have a decent menu of Italian pastas, salads, and calzones as well.

I just called down there to ask for delivery and asked if there was any way they could make an exception to the 5'o clock delivery time because we are stuck in the hospital-to which the man who answered replied VERY RUDELY "I don't have a delivery driver until 5" and HUNG UP ON ME!! Boycott is on!

I have been here and ate there pizza once with some friends of mine. the pizza was very good, I liked it a lot. i will go back again and eat more if i go out that way again. good day sir.

WORST and RUDEST customer service ever!

I love pizza and was excited to try Abo's of Wash Park since I had read about their "great" food. Well...not only did our pizza never arrive, the person on the phone was indifferent, rude and made it seem like our issue. They charged our credit card yet never delivered anything or even called us. After 90 minutes we called and in the end, nothing was resolved because they did not care. There are much better and nicer local pizza places- Abo's does not deserve the business they get!

This place has THE BEST pizza in Denver. This is more of a "carry out" type place with only two or three small tables. The service is fine for carry out but I can understand the negative reviews for those who try to dine in. But the food is so good....

The rudest staff I have ever encountered...maybe that's authentic NY?

I went in with a few friends and we stood at the counter for about 10 minutes waiting to order while the staff ignored us. Finally we were helped and when I placed my order the gal rolled her eyes and let out a big sigh. I asked if what I ordered was going to be a problem and she shot back, "well I guess it's my job isn't it?!" wow. yikes. Three people in our group got thier food while two of us continued to wait. Finally when our other friends had already finished thier food I went to the counter to ask about the remaining two orders. Again, it took about 10 minutes before someone bothered to come help me. I reminded her that two of us were still waiting for our food. "Oh yeah," was the resonse I got. Another 20 minutes later we finally received our order. I am a very laidback person and slow service does not bother me. But this was absolutely rediculous. The slow service isn't even what made me mad. It was the total lack of polite behavior on the part of the staff. I will never go back. Maybe this experience ruined my apetite, but I didn't think the food was anything special either.

Abo's is hands down the best pizza in Colorado. I grew up in Hempstead, NY and thought there was no way I'd find a decent pie in Denver. I've tried them all, from Anthony's to Nick N Willys. All were huge disappointments. Abos's is good stuff. Nice sized slices that fold easily, good crust, good sauce, good cheese and correct amount of toppings. Some places cover their pies in toppings. Abos spreads them out properly. mad props to the kids at Abos. Great eats.
