    Browned Butter and Mazithra Cheese!!

    Posted by Alleyoop620 on 02/18/2008

When I was married and Lived in Littleton, we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory OFTEN!! We always had at least part of our order as "Browned Butter and Mazithra cheese. I learned to LOVE it. My wife and I would use ANY excuse to go there for that Spaghetti. Now that I lived in Tennessee, I REALLY miss that place. Guess I'll try the one in Nashville again someday.

    LOVE IT ! ! !

I love the Mizithra & Brown Butter Spaghetti! I think this restaurant is a really nice place. It's reasonably priced and (thank god!) is different from all the typical restaurants downtown. Also, the staff are always friendly to us and the manager has thanked us personally for dining. The interior is stunning as well!

Horrible. Mic running in dining room.

My date and I went here last night, and got through the salad portion, then happened to glance to the right and noticed mic running all over. The manager was like, "well we'd like you to come back, we're sorry".. I'm never going back here!

    Great Value & Date spot!

Just had dinner there last week and I always tell myself to go back sometime. I feel cool knowing a reasonablly priced (almost cheap) meal downtown that make you feel like you have been to a destination. Food is not the best but good. Cool date spot....

Taste like spaghetti from a factory...

    Posted by mnt2b on 11/15/2006

Spagetti factory taste just like it's name....spaghetti from a factory. It was very bland and dissapointing. It does have a very cool interior design. I ate there once and would not go back.

    What a Value!!!

What a value for the money. Great atmosphere, good service, and the food is good. Where else can you either take the kids or have a cheap lunch/dinner date. Their creamy pesto (ranch dressing) is the best!

    Wonderful downtown casual dining

    Posted by kristag on 05/01/2006

We dined at The Old Spaghetti Factory for my last birthday, and I was thrilled with the interior decor. (Being a person who frequently gages architecture and decor, this was an immediate plus.) The restaurant is, as you could tell by the name, set in an old train station, and the floor plan is layed out with the large room divided not by whole walls but barriers to indicate small areas. This creates a very open but warm ambiance, which I loved. The meals are, as I'm sure others have said, a great price for the amount of food. Service and atmosphere doesn't indicate casual dining however, which was nice. Overall, a great downtown place to dine.

I've been to this restaurant several times and I don't think I'll go gain. While the food is okay and the prices low and it's a great place for kids with their indoor trolley car and their four-poster bed booths, I find their service lacking. On one visit, we were seated near the kitchen and you could here the staff arguing. This was exacerbated as they came out and continued their discussion while clearing off the table next to ours. Then, they proceeded to carpet-sweep the rug while we were eating. They brought the bill without asking us if we wanted dessert and we definitely had the impression that it was time for us to leave. (And no, we did not have any screaming children with us--it was just me and a friend.)Another visit was equally unsatisfying, with items forgotten and a less than apologetic attitude. There is also a long wait at times and I don't think they take reservations. Try it once if you have young kids, but I bet that will be enough.

Great Food but Not great service

I absolutley love going to the Old factory, but be prepared to wait awhile for your meal. And I would recommend parking yourself, you might have to walk a bit, but its downtown.... Again the food and the setting is a great place, especially if you have kids.

I would not recommend this place to people who know anything about quality food. The food was terrible. Even the cheap glasses and silverware bugged me. I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria decorated like an old victorian house. The only thing I did like about this was the old building and the feel of being in a victorian house. I would not like to sit in the street car ever again though, very uncomfortable. All in all I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.
