Greedy Snakes
Posted by Hwillaims on 07/27/2009
I paid $544 for a repair they said was needed for an timming issue. It took all day, I kept asking the service guy why it was taking so long, and he kept telling me they're working on it. After 4 and half hours I walked back to the service garage and to talk to the other mechanics. They said guy working on my car hasn't started yet and he went to lunch!!!!!!!!!! 6 hours later, and very unhappy, I drove off only to find out the car was still not fixed. I immediately call back and they told me it must be something else now. The next day I went to another Honda Dealer and found out there was a recall from Honda for the problem I was having. The other dealer fixed in 30 minutes and it was under factory warranty...no charge!!!!
I call Crown to complain and ask for my money back, and they told me to F**** Off! I am going to the BBB, and NC At. Generals office next...take my advice, take your precious dallors elsewhere.

do not, under any circumstances, have your honda serviced at crown honda.
i just had an estimate done there and it totaled over $1000.00. i had just had my honda serviced for a similar issue five months ago. when i asked them WHY my car was having the same problems, they responded "i don't know".
i bought my car down the road to repair shop that specializes in honda repairs and they said my car checked out fine, a wire was loose...the total repair bill was $75.00.
DO NOT trust their service people, they are rip off artists. stay away from this dealership.

Poor Treatment
Posted by jill44n on 11/25/2008
I went to this dealership interested in an Odyssey. I stood on the showroom for 20min, then finally asked the receptionist if i could get one of the salespeople to help me, they had only walked by me many times. What a waste that was, the salesperson knew less about the Odyssey than I did. He said most everyone was new. I wanted to get there most competetive price, so I sat at his desk and waited...........45min. When he came back, he had nothing, no price, nothing. It was a waste of 3 hours of my time. I asked to talk to a manager, and he could have cared a less about selling a car. I visited another dealer, and it was night and day. I would recommend AVOIDING this dealer! Your time is worth more.

Over Priced for Service.
Posted by Aconner on 11/15/2008
I just moved to the area and took my 2004 Accord to have it serviced. I was quoted a price, on the phone and came in. When the car was done the bill was triple the quote! I questioned the charges and labor was not included in the original quote! I told the manager that is bait and switch, and very poor business. He told me all quotes never include labor. I contacted the BBB, and they agreed with me. Crown never responded to the complaint from BBB. I guess they are making to much money off us!

Crown Honda Wrote its Reviews!
Posted by jcairson on 10/29/2008
I am a mother of 2 kids, and work full time. I wanted to buy a new Accord and have straight talk on purchasing the vehicle...was I wrong! It was obvious after 2 HOURS of asking for their best price, and seeing my salesperson say he was going to talk to the manager, but instead go off and smoke cigarettes on the side of the building that this company is a disgrace to the Honda name. I bought else where with far better treatment. I later call the manager to express my concern for their lack of customer appriciation, but he could have cared a less. It was interesting that when I looked up the phone number in Yellowpages.com that the first 3 reviews were done the same date and the person who wrote the first review has the same name as the road Crown is located on???????? STOP Rating yourself!!!!!!!! Crown has terrible customer service, that must be why they wrote their own reiviews!!!!!!!!!!!!

READ:Service Crooks!

I have owned Hondas for 15 years, I thought since I was in the area I would stop at Crown Honda in Charlotte to have my brakes checked. They told me the brakes were wore out and it would be $300 to replace them. I had a bad feeling from their shaddy attitude, and hard sell pressure to get it done now. I went to another Honda dealer and after they removing the brake pads, they showed me that it had only 40% wear, and that all I need was brake fluid for $20! I would recommend a second opion before servicing your car at Crown Honda in Charlotte. PS, if you do...ask for your old parts!

Great service, great selection

I purchased a used Honda Accord at Crown last year and I can't be more satisfied. Not only did they do a good job of working with me on the price, but they made sure to fix any issues with the car AFTER I purchased it (which doesnt happen a lot of the time). I also had to recently take my car in for some issues with my in dash cd-changer, and they made sure to fix it for no cost and in a timely matter. I would highly recommend my friends and family to Crown for a new or used car.
