They charged us $145.11 for an alignment, and the reason they gave was to the effect that "we are the only ones in the area doing alignments, so we can charge whatever we want." We now get alignments in Gallup at Pep Boys for less than half the price of this one ($69.99). Anyone using this facility should not be like we were and get a price before agreeing to have the work done. We had an alignment done previously for about $50.00 less than this one, so we expected the price to be in the $90.00 range We were not prepared for the $141.11.

THIEVES, LIERS & RUDE

I asked for tires for my truck, they told me they ONLY had ones for $180. I did some research after THEY hung up (didn't want to help me) I found some on their web-site, called back asking for the price and they told me $120, when I asked about another tire (cheaper) they put me on hold after 10 min. I hung up.
They are constantly rude: I was there a month ago for my car, when I asked them about comparing prices, they told me to go away or just sit down. I waited for over 3 hours for 4 tires. In that time I heard them "blow" off numerous customers. They hate spending the time to go over things with us.

This is a general number to help you get to every goodyear in the US. These stars dont represent just good year in Madera. My opinion---Goodyear Tire in Madera, Ca is excellent they have a new customer for life.

Terrible Customer Service

I went in on 9/5/09 to get a simple Car Inspection done, the whole experience was pretty bad. From the get-go the counter people were rude, abrupt and I felt like my business wasnt valued. After I handed over the keys I waited for about 2 hours for a phone call. They said they would call at 12:30 but failed, leaving me to call them at about 1 o'clock. Later I picked up the car, fixed the few things to be fixed and brought it back to be looked over and to have the inspection completed. Again, another one of the counter people was rude and I had to wait another 30 minutes.Overall, the people were extremely rude and acted like I was causing them problems for giving them my business. If value customer service, Goodyear on West Main is not the place for you.

Beware of Services Not Performed

They tried to charge me for a service-a diagnostic test that they didn't provide today and that I didn't request. The first person that created the invoice seemed honest and prepared the services as I requested today. However, when I went in to pay the bill..a different counter person was trying to blow smoke about the services that were performed when I questioned the bill. Important note: Always remember who called you on the phone to tell them because they will say they don't know who you talked to over the phone when the car was diagnosed or the conversation you had with the person over the phone. Then this counter person acted irritated and basically threw a "childlike tantrum" until I was able to get the manager to come in to explain the bill to me. They then acted like they can't find the past history of the car in their computer-another note-hang on to all previous invoices for proof of services performed in past! Finally, they agreed that I shouldn't have been charged for it and deducted it from the bill. Then as I go to my car to leave I notice they never put on the windshield wipers that I had paid for..so I had to go back in and show them. They rushed me out quickly to fix them so others would not hear me as I question whether other services were also performed today. Last Important note: Hang on to all old parts for proof after service performed! I don't think all of the people in this shop are bad..but I think there are a few bad apples in there that have a lot to learn about customer service! Overall, question and question again until they can prove to you.

Goodyear Cobblestone Village location

The Goodyear location on 312 in the Cobblestone Village shopping center is the perfect place to bring your vehicle. They are very personable and have excellent customer service. They will go above and beyond to help their customers resolve any pproblems you may have. I definitely recommend this location for any automotive service.

Front desk personnell & mechanics are pleasant people. Excellent service, if you choose to wait on your car the waiting area is clean & comfortable. The only thing missing is the coupons you would received every so often in the mail for discount on oil change/tires etc.

Negative reviews are NOT for the Blue Springs location!

Just to clarify, Ms. Goddard's and 5175ARTSPRG's negative experiences were not at the location in Blue Springs, MO. They have an impeccable reputation. By saying "serving the Blue Springs area" the Yellowpages.com weblink in makes it appear the complaint is for the Blue Spring, MO location when it is not.

bad service makes Good Year a Bad Year

The location at 278 and 170 is not a place you want to go. I spent $1100.00 dollars to get my brakes fixed...they replaced the front calipers and said they cleaned and adjusted threar brakes. Now my emergency brakes do not work. They also worked on my air conditioning for a little over $100. The refridgerant was full before going in, and I explained that I could not add any more to the system, and that there was a shortage somewhere because the AC will work intermittently. I waited almost 2 hrs and the only thing they did was add refridgerant because they said it was low. This was untrue, and it did not repair the AC...it still only worked 50% of the time. I took the auto back, but they are always understaffed, someone called in sick, or they just cannot get to it until later. These are truly the slowest people I have ever seen, and act unprofessionally in my opinion. Don't waste your time by going here unless you have time to kill, and don't mind coming back a few times to get your problem solved.
