    Great pizza, atmosphere and service

Excellent experience with unique and traditional argentine cuisine. Authentic flavor and atmosphere with only Argentine music ever playing in the background. Prompt service with delicious hot fresh bread and "chimichurri" (argentine herb sauce & marinade). Moderate pricing and convenient location make this place worthwile to stop by. The specialty is the pizza, but no menu item is a bad choice...not to mention you MUST try the gelato while you're there!

Has the right feel and the food is good, I am used to a different type of Empanda from DH family, but these are still good, had the open face empanda last time with shrimp and it was DELISH!!! GO you will be happy with the different flavor!!

Authentic Empanadas, Casual Atmosphere, Unique Pizza

    Posted by moodeous2 on 11/16/2006

I go to Buenos Aires for the empanadas. They are DELICIOUS!!! While they have a nice casual atmosphere in the dining area and its very close to Coors Field and downtown this homebody often picks up her food and bikes home to eat on the couch. That said the one time I have eaten in the restaurant the waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. Prices are standard for a pizzeria and offerings are typical but with varied ingredient combos. Buenos Aires does not serve my favorite NYC Style Crispy Grease Pie, but it does serve a fluffy pizza that my friends love. Overall I would recommend this restaurant for families with kids (everyone will be happy), groups before the game (lots of seating and good drink specials) and empanada fans. The takeout side is great too!

damn fine pizza, empanadas and gelato

My girlfriend and I have been wanting to try this place and we were not disappointed. We each started with an empanada and they were delicious. We ordered a 16 inch pizza, half with shrimp and tomato sauce and half with italian sausage and olive oil. The shrimp pizza was the best pizza I've ever had and the sausage pizza was excellent. We figured we would have alot of left overs, but we only boxed up a couple of slices....we just couldn't stop eating. At the end of the meal, we were totally stuffed but couldn't resist ordering the dos leches with chocalate gelato. We split what looked like a half pint...it was incredible. I would definitely go back just to get a cup of it again. If you like great food with no pretense, you gotta try this place.

    This Pizzaria is Muy Buenos!

I was skeptical about trying Argentinian pizza, but after today, I'm a believer! We started with a couple of fresh baked empanadas. The ham & cheese empanada was simply delicious! For our lunch entrees we tried their popular cuban sandwich - with thick slices of roast pork, ham, cheese and mustard; and of course we had to try a pizza. My choice of pizza came topped with chicken, bacon and corn. I know, sounds weird - but it was excellent. We washed it all down with a tasty pitcher of Sangria ($18). Also tried the flan for dessert - it came pie shaped with a scoop of dulce de leche and whipped cream. We licked the plate clean! A great little place. You must try it!
