I am being very conservative in my review. I have never been to Pet Rest, or witnessed their crematory processes, so I am going with three stars. Having just used their services for the first time, I am impressed with the beautiful dark blue tin my pet's remains came back to me in. The golden highlights are very nice. Heavy paper dark blue bag, with a notepad rubberbanded to the tin with the words, "You can advertise an image, but you EARN a reputation." We also received a very nice card with Matthew 5:4 printed on it, with a 100% recycled cotton heart that contains fresh flower seeds and wildflower seeds with instructions for planting. (The first page of the top of the notepad included my Vet's name, and my pet's name.) Pet Rest Inc. has a very nice website that is worth exploring. And I am encouraging all of you pet owners out there (yes, this means you, too,) to look at all of the options BEFORE you need them. It was by luck that I complained to my Vet's assistant about "Group Cremation," and receiving "the ashes of who knows how many pets back, hoping that my beloved pet's ashes would be in the remains." My Vet's assistant told me about Pet Rest, and that they do individual cremation, so you receive the remains of your own pet back. Pet Rest also does "Group Cremation" for those who do not wish to receive their pet's remains back, and possibly want to visit the Pet Rest Gardens. If it weren't for the internet scares, and the fact that I have never witnessed Pet Rests practices, I would give them five stars. I need to add a plaque to my beloved pet's tin with personal information on it, and then add some flowers.

I lost my best friend - Ginger. I was told about Pet Angel from a friend who had also gone there when their dog passed away. The people at Pet Angel were so kind and I know they cared about Ginger and helped me through a very difficult time. They explained their process and how Ginger would be all by herself in a private cremation. Pet Angel actually came to my house to pick her up and the guy who came (sorry I don't recall his name) was very nice and respectful. THANK YOU. I was able to go to their location and pick Ginger up and when I did that, and seeing their facility, I felt even better. I would highly recommend using Pet Angel when you lose your best friend.
My vet recommended Pet Angel after I lost my sweet little Yorkie, Bruno. They were so kind and respectful with him and me. They saved a lock of his hair for me and took a paw print. Seemed so much more dignified than a backyard burial for such a loyal friend. They also explained that they can handle exhumed pets if you move. These are some of the kindest people I've ever met. Thank you so very much!
