This office is the most commercial non-caring medical office I have ever been to, in my life. They are open terrible hours: Mon, Tues, Thur and Fri 7:30 am to 2:30 pm with a 1 hour lunch in between! On Wednesdays, they are only open 7:30am to 11:30 am, The receptionist that answers the phones (after you finally get through) immediately says:"Southport Family Practice and Sprots Medicine. Can you hold, Please"< SLAM you are on hold whether you want to be or not. IF you can get in, you wait forever. Then you are seen by a medtech, and wait forever for your DR. who then spends a Maximum of 5 minutes with you whether you have a rash or are coughing up blood. You are then given a RX for whatever symptom you want and you're outta there. I had never seen the same medtech twice and had to beg to be sent to a specialist for what ended up being a life threatening condition. IF your DR. is not in, you can't see another in the office as:"it would be a confilct of interest and cause problems between the DR.s" Why? Because DR #2 might actually find your real condition?? I wouldn't send a dying RAT that I found on a barn floor to that office. DON'T GO there, if you want MEDICAL ATTENTION. You'd be better off asking the Pahrmacist at Wal Mart their opinion, at least they want to sell all the meds that they can!
