Amazing service. Indy Appliance Repair came to my home the same day I called. They fixed my oven right before Thanksgiving. I would recommend them to anyone.

I called at 11:15 am and the lady that answered the phone (who was nice as heck) said that
they would be able to come over today to look at my washer to see if it could be fixed, but it
would be later in the afternoon. I said that would be fine just call me when they would be on
their way. About 20 min later I got a call that asked if they could come now and I said "great".
There new exactly what the problem was and fixed it within 10 min., I couldn't believe it!
This is the greatest and the guys were very nice and courteous. I would highly recommend
them to anyone and will!

I also had Chris come out to fix my dryer. He called because he was early and wanted to know if I was home, which I was. H diagnosed the problem quickly, had the replacement part with him, and was done by the time he was originally supposed to arrive. Also is a very nice fellow.

I see that other people also gave Chris high marks for knowledge and expertise.

To those who may point out that the parts themselves cost X and they charge Y, charging for labor and expertise is a pretty standard practice. In my case I had looked up the cost of the part online, and while that would have been cheaper, I don't have the know-how to replace it and if I had tried I would undoubtedly have made it worse.

Amazing Service!

I called this company with my food thawing in my refrigerator. They were able to get to me within hours. They had the problem fixed on the initial visit. I am so greatful this company carries parts on thier vehicles. The technician was very professional. He explained everything that was going on with my appliance. He even gave me tips on how to maintain it for longer life span of the machine. I just cant explain how happy I am with this company. I will definetly refer them to all my family and friends which is something I dont take lightly. This is the company to use if you are looking for professional, affordable service. I arrived home from work to find my refrigerator not working. I called Indy Appliance and they had a person in the area. He replaced the start relay on the compressor and my refrigerator immediatly started to cool. The tech showed me how to check the evaporator coil to make sure the compressor was working properly. This technician also told me put surge protectors on all my appliances. He even told me which specific protectors to use. I am so overwhelmed with how informative and helpful this company was with me.
I also wanted to thank the helpful lady on the phone. She even told me what the problem might be and to unplug the compressor so as to not overheat the machine. She checked with the technician to get him out within a couple hours. I am very appreciative of this company and will always use them in the future. This is how a customer should be treated.

I called Indy Appliance Repair over the weekend b/c the water was not dispensing from my refrigerator. They had a technician, Chris, out to my house on Monday. He arrived in between the 3 hour window that they provided me on the initial call and he called when he was 20 minutes out.

He looked over my fridge and explained to me how I could fix the problem myself. He also gave some helpful advice about protecting my other appliances and ways I could save myself a lot of money.

Chris was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My washer had stopped spinning out water when I called Indy Appliance Repair to come out. They were able to come out the same day and fix my washer. They did not try to sell me a part I didn't need, and fixed it with no extra charges. The serviceman was very, very helpful and polite and I will recommend them to all of my friends. I live with my parents and was home when Chris came to fix our dryer. He was very nice and respectful. I would recommend them to anyone and we will for sure call them for other repairs around the house.

Great job, fast next day service and Chris the technician was real polite. He came and told me what the price was before he did the work and showed me the problem that I was having. Excellent service good prices you can't beat that!

This company was excellent to work with. My Maytag oven quit working in August. The oven is only 6 years old but Maytag discontinued the part. Indy Appliance Repair did not let that be the final answer. They made repeated calls to the manufacturer and researched parts until they found one that would work on my oven. The Tech came out this evening and installed it and it worked. Not only did they fight with the manufacturer to find a part that would work but they also worked around my schedule so I did not have to lose any work time. Thank you Chris and Donna. I will definitely recommend you to family and friends.

I had a great experience. My refrigerator went out. They were able to come out the same day and get it repaired. Price was very reasonable. The woman answering the phone was very helpful. I will recommend Indy Appliance to my family and friends. I could not have asked for a better experience.

When my washer wouldn't enter the spin cycle, I did some research and called Indy Appliance Repair. I spoke with Donna. She was about the rudest person I have ever talked to. She quoted me 300-400 to put a new door latch in and 400-500 to put a new control panel in. When I politely asked her how she got to that number since the door latch is only 28.00 for an OEM, she just repeated the prices again and told me I might want to consider getting a new washer. She wouldn't break down the quotes at all. Clearly she didn't care if she earned my business. Had she been polite and quoted me something reasonable, I would have had them replace it. That day I bought the door latch for 28.00 and installed it in less than 5 minutes. Problem solved. I must have caught her on an off day or something but she was rude and short with me, despite me asking basic questions.

Our dryer has failed me two times for two different issues. Both times the technician came out and had it fixed within minutes. Extremely professional, and showed me what was the issue while he fixed. He also informed me of my dryer pipe issue, and maintenance on my washer dryer that we would not experience problems in the future. I will only be using Indy Appliance for all of our appliances due to their professionalism, turn around time, and pricing. They are truly the best out there.

10 days ago my French Style GE Fridge stopped cooling. I was looking for a service company that also serviced the Avon area and had a cheap service call price and good reviews. At $9.95 according to their website, and with 36 good reviews on YP.Com, I came across Indy Appliance Repair (IAR). Avon wasn't listed as a service area on their website, but upon calling, the customer service rep (CSR) said they could come out for $40.00. I decided to go ahead and book the appointment due to the high reviews. I took the day off and received a call from the technician in the designated time window. He was very friendly and trying to save me money, he attempted to diagnose the problem over the phone to a main Control Board issue. He explained that it would cost around $300 for the part, but also told me I could call the manufacturer since the fridge was not very old (5 years) and ask them to provide one at a discount. I was able to get the control board and easily install it myself for $80.00. Would have been great, if it had solved the issue. I would give 5 stars for the technicians effort to help me save money, but 2 stars for the effort in diagnosing the issue. I called IAR back, and to my surprise after explaining what happened, the CSR told me to call Turner Appliance Repair to service my fridge. This sort of confused and upset me, that they turned down my business and would not see the problem to the end. I ended up calling another service company that covers the Avon area and they diagnosed it to be a different enclosed board that regulates electricity to the compressor that was burned out and the bill is a little over $500.00. I don't know if this company was too busy to help me that they left me hanging that day, but I ended up wasting $80.00 by taking their advise over the phone. I would just advise other customers to make sure the company does their necessary due diligence on the issue and make sure they come in-person to visually diagnose the problem unless it can be fixed without any investment in parts. Once the real root cause is determined, then provide the options to repair.

after reading the reviews i was really excited to use this company.. i left a voicemail and they called me right back saying they wouldnt work on my whirlpool cabrio washing machine because the tech doesn't like washing machines without agitators... which i thought was pretty silly since i had explained to them that the problem was actually with the lock and not the washing capabilities of the machine... was pretty disappointed.....

I called this company on a Saturday morning and they were able to come out that day. They didn't charge extra for the weekend appointment. I had my dryer working that day and the charge wasn't much. I will recommend Indy Appliance Repair to my family and friends.
