Dr. Moores was a board certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who founded Dermatology, Inc. in 1968 and later founded Mid-America Pathology Services (MAPS) in 1997. He was a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine in 1963. He was a Professor of Clinical and Laboratory Medicine and the head of Dermatopathology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Moores received numerous awards and honors throughout his career. As a physician, mentor and friend, Dr. Moores was dedicated to the practice of medicine and teaching dermatology and dermatopathology. He gave generously, both monetarily and of his time, to the IU School of Medicine, various philanthropic causes, and a charity medical clinic. His mission and dedication will be carried forward by those he touched and by the continued success of Dermatology, Inc. and Mid-America Pathology Services.
