    what they don't tell you

    Costco doesn't tell you, nor is it posted anywhere in the store, if you write a check and want to return something you have to wait 10days. They run your check automatically so the money is not available in your account. However for the 1st ten day after your purchase, you can only get a COSTCO cash card for a return. I bought a Dyson vacuum. $399 plus tax. Got it home. Realized it was the wrong model. Took it back the next day. BIG SURPRISE>
