Southside Landmark since 1961 possibly 1957 , I've been here for 31 years and we still do it the same way Bob did then , great return customers some feeding the 5th generations of families , everyone may not like us , and we WANT TO THANK THE LOYAL ONES WITH GOOD TASTE !!!
if you like cardboard crust the pizza is " ok " but please make sure you find out what is going to be on your pizza... i ask for banana peppers said no to jalapenos but the second time the pizza was delivered... there they were ANYWAY so much for eating that pizza either $35.55 for pizza and rib tips $10.00 tip (was the day after christmas ie lots of snow) then still unable to the food we paid for.
i have lived here over two years and we dont order pizza often but when we do we like bobs but i live like two lights to far and they do not want to deliver to me i have talked to a manager dont remember her name but she said she would deliver to me now tonite i order a pizza and she says she never told me that and i had to fight with her to get my pizza why does this always have to happen
My sister raved about this pizza several times. I tried it last week. I have never had such a bad pizza. The sausage was ground up like hamburger, laid on a bed of hardly any sauce. Then covered with mushrooms, green peppers, olives and cheese. That part was good while it was hot. However, I could lift up the cheese part like a toupee and scrap off some of the meat. This is not a recipe for good let alone best pizza.
I gave some to my sister the next day. She said it didn't taste like what she had in the past. And I spent 16.60 on this mess.
Bob's is the Best Pizza Ever !

Look at your reviews then ask yourself "what did I change in 2007/08?". We used to get bobs all the time now I don't even consider them

They are not the brighest crayons in the box, so make sure you speak very very slow. Maybe they will get your order right, but I would not hold my breath.
Man Bob's back in the day had really good pizza. My family has been customers for 30 years or so. I recently ordered my usual and was totally disappointed. I don't know if they've started using sub-par ingredients or what. I know they used Virga crust,Burnett sliced cheese,Saporito [Stanislaus] pizza sauce,Ezzo pepperoni, freshly cooked pork sausage, etc. So with the down economy they might be using crappy stuff cause the above ingredients are quality. I also believe Bob's pizza's are over-priced. They need to drop the prices 5/10% and allow coupons to be used for delivery. I mean it's drive-in pizza at best, not Italian authentic pizza. Shape-up Bob's or loose more customers like myself and family.
yummy loved it cheesy and crusty and saucy
this is nothing but pure expensive overpriced hilly billy pizza
its almost like chewing on a rubber dog toy
no hand tossed crust
watered down pizza sause
cheap rubbery cheese

Let's see... $20 for one pizza with canned mushrooms, the saltiest cheese I have ever had, crust so hard my dog wouldn't eat it, sauce Chef Boyardee would be ashamed of... Save $19 and buy a tostino's party pizza, at least you get your money's worth for that.
While the atmosphere of the place may leave little to be desired, they do make a mean pepperoni and sausage pizza. I make it a point to grab a nice pie from Bob's several times a year... when I'm near or on the South Side.
Prices have gone up all over so it's to be expected and while their prices are slightly higher than average or normal... the pizza is still pretty good! I would personally opt for Bob's Tu Your Door than a lousy $5 cheapo pizza from other larger franchises, for example.
No dine-in of course...
THIS PIZZA IS BETTER THAN THE OTHERS THAT ARE AROUND HERE. IT MUST BE THE BEST BECAUSE IT'S BEEN AROUND FOR AS LONG AS I HAVE BEEN ALIVE.
I remember years ago when this used to be a good pizza, at a fair price, and a family oriented atmosphere that made you feel comfortable. That has changed a great deal. The pizza is not made with the same concern for consistency that it once was. Usally cold burnt and chewy when delivered. The drivers make rude remarks if you don't tip them well. The pick up option is not the answer, unless you wish to be treated badly, enjoy listening to extremely vulgar language, and ignored until THEY are ready to wait on you. The sanitation of the kitchen in which food is being prepared is another sight. I watched as an employee making pizza dripped persperation onto the ingredients, and did not even realize what she had done. Another came in from smoking a cigarette and went directly to handling food product without washing his hands. Shame. This used to be a decent place. Check it out for yourself. You will regret it.
THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA EVER "ONE OF A KIND PIZZA" IS HOW TO EXPLAIN IT. IF U HAVE NEVER TRIED BOBS TU YOUR DOOR, TRY IT. U WILL NOT REGRET IT BELIEVE ME I HAVE BEEN RAISED ON BOBS PIZZA FOR 22 YEARS.
