Baba Cab

Very honest and caring. We had traveled to Indianapolis for my mother-in-law's surgery, and were stressed and in a hurry. The Baba Cab took us safely to the hospital through a snow storm. Later we realized that my wife's Kindle had slipped out of her purse. We were able to contact the cab company after leaving the city and they found the Kindle. The owner braved the Christmas rush at UPS and sent it back to us. He would not let us reimburse him and wanted to do this as an act of kindness. Thanks again.

If I could give them zero I would. The cab was absolutely filthy to begin with. I requested a receipt to submit my business expense. The cab driver said he couldn’t but he would email it to me. I called THREE times to get that receipt that was promised to me and no one bothered to get back to me. I ended up eating a $80 cab fare as my company requires a receipt to get reimbursed. The cost was also astronomical. Would NOT recommend - awful experience and awful service

On May 20, 2016 I took cab# 516 from Indianapolis International Airport to a destination 12.7 miles and was charged $41.15. The driver was visible upset that I did not give him a tip.

The cab driver's credit card machine supposedly did not work, and he wouldn't give me my suitcase until I paid in cash. It was very late on a Saturday night, and I couldn't get cash. Finally I called my friend, who came with cash, but the driver kept the meter running, and we paid over double the amount for the ride. It seemed to be a shake-down, because the driver's friend came over to him and said, "How much money are you getting?"

The next day, my mother called the cab company and spoke with the owner, who assured her that this was unusual and he would take care of it. He was very apologetic and angry that the cab driver overcharged me.

Driver did not secure seat belt (which is the law in Indiana). I asked the driver to buckle up and he did not. He also complained that he was not going very far as I live close to the airport and I agree with another reviewer - the driver drove slow to rack up the charge. $20 for a taxi - less than 10 minutes from the airport is ridiculous.

If i could rate this business at a zero i would. I manage a hotel in Plainfield and not only do these drivers attemp to refuse payment with credit card which is against the law but they also do not run their meters when bringing my guests to the hotel and try to make them pay when they are well aware that the hotel pays . Therefore, in order for my guests to get a ride they must pay whatever made up amount these taxis decide to charge forcing us to pay cash or they refuse to take my guests. absolutely insane!!

Baba Cab was able to deliver me to and retrieve me from an obscure address in Indianapolis. A very friendly guy, I'm happy to have been graced with his service.

PRO-Very late airport arrival but Baba Cab was there, thank goodness.



CON-Live close to the airport. But a $20+ charge was ridiculous. Driver drove WAy UNDER the spoed limit. Trying to push up fare? Why not go the speed limit and return more quickly to the airport for another fare? Did not want to tip hi but did so as to not tick driver off.

A driver refused to take us from Mass Ave to our home on NYE because it was "too far." We live near Broad Ripple. Ridiculous. Will never use again.
