The staff there does not care about the children or the parents. I tried to drop my child off at the daycare to go to work. The week had already been paid for and the teacher decided to start yelling at me. My child got so scared she ran into the bathroom and locked the door. The teacher did not like me and decided she did not want to watch my child that day. Not very dependable daycare. The teacher just picks and chooses what child she wants to watch. Because of this I had to call into work and tell them I not coming in that day. I lose a day worth of pay that I needed to support my child. The teacher did not care that I am missing work and losing pay to take care of my child. She only thought of herself and not the reason she is there. She is there to take of the children so the parents can go to work to support their children. that was a very sad day that somebody like that actually works with the public. The director said she would give the teacher addtl training. I do not think there is any training one can get to learn how to be nice to others.
I dropped my child off at the daycare to go to work. the teacher wanted to know why I did not bring a treat for the Halloween party. I told her I was picking my child up early today because she had got hit yesterday in the stomach and stomach was still sore. The teacher went off on me and told me my child was lieing nobody hit her. that teacher was not even with her all day so she had no clue what she was talking about. My child got so scared of this teacher arguing with her mommy she ran to the bathroom to hide. I could not even drop my child off to go to work. I told that teacher if that how she treats the parents I can not even imagine how she treats the kids. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. They are not reliable care. I needed to go to work and could not because this teacher just wanted to argue with me in front of my child.
My child was denied a bathroom break by one of the teachers becasue the class was playing outside. This is in the 4's class. I talked to the director about getting a new teacher for that class and she refused. My child had to sit in her own poop outside until the teacher was ready to take the class inside. Unhappy parent.
I really appreciate this place. A few years ago they offered christmas help to families. I think it was sponsered by the young lady who works up from during days. She is really nurturing, patient and caring with both the parents and the children. The children are taken on several field trips and activities throughout the years at a cost that is not unreasonable. Children are broken up in classrooms per age, this was the main reason why I decided to bring my 5 month old, 2 y/o and 4 y/o to this center. My only issue is that they tend to misplace clothes or my children come home with paint stains, which is really not that big of a deal, I just forgot to send a large paint shirt. Another good quality is that when they say they are cooking for the kids, they are really cooking healthy meals with fruits, vegetables, meat and milk. If my children come in late, which tends to happen a lot (busy mom syndrome) my children can still get plates of food. The director, although she can be a bit forgetful, is a great lady. She also goes out of her way to make sure families are satisfied.
I only took my child there for a week and quickly learned it was not the right place for him to be. My son is only 3 so he talks a lot but doesn't pronounce everything correctly and I was hoping daycare would really help him learn and teach him those things. My child has also been potty trained for a year and NEVER has issues even while sleeping.. everyday for 5 days my son had pooped his pants. Very unusual I had brought it up to the teachers that I was concerned and just to keep an eye on him. They also told me that they tought them spanish as well and I'm definitely down for diversity however I didn't know they meant as like a primary language. I am partially hispanic myself, but my son doesn't understand when you tell him to sit in spanish or call him "papi" as well as when the teacher tried to tell me about his accident she couldn't really verbalize very well the situation. I also see them clean there facility every morning but the place had a weird smell to it. The thing that attracted to me was the location, price, and hours. The staff is friendly, but not the right place for my child.
I would give them a negative nine (-9) stars because they are not profession nor do they truly care about the well being of the children in their care. I say this a parent and a former employee.
