If you want to be a good customer for these guys, accept their advice! They know EVERYTHING about their products. They listen and understand almost immediately what you need, do not second guess them because there is nothing they know better. If you need a part they will find it. If you are attempting the repair yourself, they will show you how, heck you may learn stuff about you washer and dryer you never knew before. The great guys that run this place have the hearts of teachers and go out of their way to train their customers on what parts to purchase and even how to repair their appliances; cheaply. I feel that there are companies that can learn a lot from their business model and ideals. As long as they do not change this formula I will be a customer for life.
I am reading these reviews and am shocked. I have purchased a few items from this establishment and have been very pleased. They tell you UP FRONT that if they are going to order the part for you that you cannot return it. They don't typically stock everything for every appliance - no business can do that. The gal that I dealt with has been very professional and they had the part when they said they would. You either have to know it is the part you need or you have to eat the cost. That is why they are so reasonable.
I called for a heating element for my dryer. They had the part in stock and at a better price than other places that I called. The person that I spoke to on the phone asked me questions about my repair such as "is there any heat?" He determined that I didn't need the part and suggested how to fix my problem (dryer vent was clogged). They saved me a ton of money. I've used this store before to purchase an ice maker several years ago. They gave me repair advice and it is still working well. These guys are great.
