SHADELAND AUTO IS A GREAT BUSINESS. I WAS DRIVING FROM MEMPHIS TENNESSEE TO INDIANAPOPLIS TO VISIT MY COUSIN, MY 1996 BMW WAS STARTED RUNNING BAD DURING MY DRIVE UP, TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON, AND MY MOTOR WAS MISSING. I HAD A FUEL FILTER THAT NEEDED INSTALLING, EVERY SHOP THAT I CALLED IN THE AREA SAID THAT THEY WERE TOO BUSY, OR THEY DIDN'T INSTALL CUSTOMER PROVIDED PARTS. I CALLED MY COUSIN DENISE THAT LIVES IN INDY, SO SHE GAVE SHADELAND AUTO AN EXCELLENT RECOMMENDATION. I CALLED SHADELAND AND EXPLAINED MY PROBLEM, THEY INSTRUCTED ME TO COME RIGHT ON, SO WE DROVE THERE AND ASKED THEM TO INSTALL MY PROVIDED FUEL FILTER. THE GUYS AT THE FRONT COUNTER WERE EAGER TO HELP ME, THEY QUOTED ME $80.00 AND PULLED IT RIGHT IN, AFTER THE INSTALLATION, THEY TOOK THE INITIATIVE AND PLUGGED UP THEIR CODE SCANNER BECAUSE MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. THEY REPORTED TO ME THAT THE RANDOM CODE MISFIRE LEADS TO THE # 4 FUEL INJECTOR. I EXPLAINED TO THEM PARTS FOR MY 1996 BMW ARE MOSTLY HARD TO FIND ... THEY PLUGGED IT BACK IN, AND TURNED OFF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ABSOLUTELY FREE. MY 96 BMW WAS RUNNING SO SMOOTH WHEN I LEFT, THANKS TO SHADELAND AUTO IN INDIANAPOLIS, THE DRIVE BACK TO MEMPHIS WAS GREAT. I CAN NOW CONFRONT THE SHOP BACK IN THE MEMPHIS TENNESSEE AREA THAT REMOVED MY INTAKE- MANIFOLD, AND REPLACED THE VALVE COVER GASKET ON MY BMW PRIOR TO MY DRIVE UP. It took me awhile to write this review because I was laughing to hard at Brickman and HotRod07's reviews. First off, a guy falling asleep with the accelerator floored while on the Dyno is hilarious. I'm not even sure that's possible unless he has Narcolepsy. And the sandwich on the intake, Really? LMAO. The other seems to be a disgruntled ex employee, that I bet didn't have the Testicular Fortitude to express his anger to management and instead became a Keyboard Warrior. I have had two vehicles in for work at RPM. The first was a GMC Sierra that had the usual Rocker Panel and Cab Corner rust. I must say the Body Shop did an excellent job on the repairs. They even went the extra mile and put the rock guard on the Rockers before paint. It looked as good, if not better, than factory. The second visit was for an exhaust upgrade on my Muscle Car. I went with Flowmasters that Bob ordered for me. He called me as soon as they came in and had me come in the next day. I literally only waited about an hour and a half and it was finished. Bob took me back to the shop and had me look at the work while the car was still on the lift. The welds on the mufflers were great and no exhaust leaks. I also looked at some other projects that were in the shop and I must say that the workmanship was great. I've seen a lot of cars they have put out and the finished product was top notch. Bob went out of his way to make my visit a positive one. I highly recommend RPM Performance and will be a repeat customer.
Great customer service ( younger to mid age black woman ) @ the Keystone & 54th st. Location in Indianapolis,IN. 46220 district . Great Attitude, patience, great advice, very pleasant !:) told me they can test my old starter to make sure if its faulty & if so, what part of it is the problem. She took the time to let me know I will receive $$ back when I return the old starters Core. I will definitely go to that Particular company, &, that particular Location. lastly I Hope Ms. Diana Gannaway is working tomorrow, when I go to pick it up! Now that's GREAT Customer Service! I have had my car at RPM numerous times. I haven't ever had a bad experience. They were friendly fast and competitive on their prices. The jobs were quoted and completed in a timely manner. Bob, The Manager has went out of his way for me multiple times. He drove to my work place after hours,, met me on my break just to give me a part off of my car. He showed me what he was working with. My last visit my car was done in less than 2 hours. I wasn't expecting to get my car back for days. Brian at the Parts counter, is the Best in the Business. He knew what I was attempting to achieve with my car, he helped me to go above and beyond. I will be a return customer of RPM Performance. Please don't let these negative reviews reflect the real work that is done on at the RPM East St. Shop. Hands down First Class Shop.
I would just like to say that the guys at edwards were amazing. To be honest I didn't even know that edwards did more than just transmissions but boy was I wrong! Not only did they take care of EVERYTHING that was wrong with my car, they did it faster than other shops I have been to in the past. jay made sure that i was comfortable with the amount that the repairs would cost and he even went out of his way to find several different parts companies to get me the best price that he could. my car was fixed within just a few short hours and i haven't had an issue since then. I will be bringing my car back again and again and again until I sell it and then I'll be bringing my new car to jay!!! all i can say is take your car to jay he will make it right!
I have been and will continue to be a customer of Shadeland Auto. Why? Because I can talk to them about what my car needs and they respond. I have had no less than 7 different cars seen by them and they always treat me the same way. They take the time to look over everthing before getting back with me. Normally they have a couple of options. All the guys there want to help. Now I have always treated people the way I like to be treated and so do Gary , Bob, Russ, Mark, Pat , Kevin, and Randy. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a fair shake. The certainly know more and have more experience with auto parts, machine work and cars then any other auto parts place I know. The guys are edwards are just great, the manager there was super friendly and made sure to make me feel at home while I was at the shop. My car did end up needing a rebuilt transmission but edwards was competitve about their pricing and their customer service was just over the top excellent! The manager was able to get me a ride back to my house so that I could make the most of my time and he kept in contact with me so I knew what was going on. The most amazing part about going to edwards is that they had my car fixed in DAYS when everywhere else was telling me it would be atleast a WEEK! I will be going back to edwards any time that I need stuff done to my car!
I would just like to say thank you to mike and all of his crew, you were all very professional and helpful. Mike made sure to keep me informed throughout the entire repair process by calling me multiple times to give me updates on what was going on with my transmission. I have never had such excellent customer service and the price couldn't be beat! My family's vehicles will be returning to mike any time that we have an issue and I have already told my friends to go see him with their problems. If you are looking for a friendly and honest person to do business with then call Mike at edwards transmissions, he will take care of you!!!
I really just want to say thank you for all the extra work mike did to my vehicle while it was at his shop. When mike was looking at my vehciel he noticed that I needed brakes and that one of my lines had rusted and was leaking break fluid, I don't know anything about cars so I never thought o look at any of this stuff but he took me back there and showed me where the line was leaking and even gave me a very good price on fixing it. If mike hadn't spent the extra time looking over my entire car instead of just the transmission I don't know if anyone would have caught that break line until it was too late.
No one Beats Millennium I came to these guys to get my new car RustProofed because they Do RustCheck which is the only Method that still has a Lifetime Warranty. Ziebart only carries 10 years and even then it says all you get is your money back. With RustCheck you get Lifetime and if it ever Rusts they fix it. Plus if you ever sell the Car the warranty is Transferable. Plus its half the price. I also had them do my bed liiner a few years back and man I cant hurt it no matter how hard I try that Line-x it unbelieveable and it still shines to this day... These guys are the Best Period.
