- Cat Rescue & Adoption
This guy steals cats from poorer neighborhoods and sells them. His nonprofit status has more to do with paying taxes than most people think. My cat was lost and he yelled obscenities and told me i killed my cat. Apparently he only treats you like royalty if you're giving him money.
My wife and I adopted our (SON) Harvey from lucky's Angels about a year and a half ago. Dennis treated us like royalty. Gave us everything we needed to get started. Then he even followed up with us to see if we were doing ok and even offered us supplies. Now we want to adopt Harvey a brother from Lucky's Angels. The owner, Dennis, is completely devoted to saving cats and matching them with incredible parents. The man is an angel on earth. We can't thank him enough for all the good he does for these precious cats. Keep up the good work Lucky's Angels!!!
This guy calls his business a cat rescue...I would be afraid to leave my cat with him! Thank God that I didn't let my cat go here. I had a baby in August and due to budget constraints and outgrowing our apartment, we have to move. I found a place that fits perfectly with our budget and gives us more room, however no pets are allowed whatsoever. I can't even pay additional money to have my cat with me. Unfortunately, there are no other places that are within our budget and have the extra room I need so I have no choice but to give up my cat, Chuck, who I've had since he was a kitten (almost 4 years). This decision didn't come easily and I would hope that people who work to save these cats would have some sort of compassion and understanding. I received a voicemail from Dennis that said exactly "since he's just a pet to you and not a family member, you should take your pet to a vet and have him put down out of his misery." What a terrible thing to say to someone that is trying to find a safe and reliable home or a new family for their cat!! He doesn't know what some one has been through and I was forced to put my other cat down last year for medical reasons. I am absolutely stunned and shocked at how heartless someone could be and I am so thankful that he left me that voicemail and I did not leave my Chuck with such a rude, heartless man. Everyone please think about the person you are leaving your cat with before you choose a place that you think may be the right home for your cat. I am beyond stunned. (And look below...the only person to leave a 5 star comment is Dennis)
