Overall I like this location that I've been shopping at since before they moved it (since 1989). BUT, every time I have bought something to the management's attention, I've been ignored and lied to. The latest was last week, when I told them that an item that was suppose to be refrigerated, was not. I had even called the company that distributes the item and asked them. I was told by a member of the management team that it would be corrected in the next 5 minutes. Well, a week later and it's still not being refrigerated. I even stopped at the north store and found that they are refrigerating this product. If you check the expiration on the eggs, you will find that they are not being rotated. This, I bought to the management's attention about a year ago, Still not being rotated. The latest item is the El Taquico flour tortillas. The front of the package is clearly printed; "Keep refrigerated". I like this product for it's low carbs, and no sugar. BUT, I will not buy it if it is not refrigerated like the packaging states! It follows, that if these items are not being handled properly, what else is being done at this store??? Hy Vee is located very close, and might have to be my shopping choice from now on.
