Hotel is fairly large

The hotel is essentially downtown Idaho Falls by a large park, somewhat far away from the freeways, but it is also the cheapest non-chain within a 150 miles of Yellowstone. You can expect basic amenities, and a friendly staff. The hotel is actually fairly large and has a motel style layout but with indoor corridoors that can become creepy at night due to the dim lighting. The rooms are on the small side and worn out, but clean. The inside courtyard is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Most lower level rooms offer patio access to the shared giant backyard.

It was a long drive with the kids , just before checking in , i decided to check the reviews after seeing the Hotel, and was depressed by the review before. So i thought not to stay and was mean to the Front desk guy and demanded a refund without seeing the room. The employee with a friendly smile , asked us to see the room first and then decide. But to our greatest surprise the room was very clean , well kept and had all amenities. I went back and apologized and he said it was OK , and the previous review was posted by competitors. I decided that i'll never check on reviews and go look at the room myself and then decide on staying or not. The Pool was clean and nice I'm really sorry for my behavior Pinecrest Inn. I highly recommend this place, and would love to come back.

Price was good . We found the hotel to be clean and comfatable. At the end of the day we were there for 2 nights . It's a stop over it's not your home,the staff were friendly and helpful

An inexpensive pit stop place to stay. Can not comment on their breakfast we left before the cook even got to start their preparation. Hey, you ""Not Recommended"" complainer's you get what you paid for and you had the opportunity to review before you place your reservation. Quit whinning. There are places worst than this. At least you had a roof on your head. On the positive side - Senery was beautiful. Enjoyed the garden area. People were pleasant. We were satisfied.

This was our third stay at the same place since its conveniently located from Yellowstone national park (2 hrs drive) and its almost like a pit stop place for us.

The stay was adequate for what we needed. We'd stay there again. The Peppertree Lounge was wonderful, and the beer was cold! Sliding glass door on the lower level was great for smokers!

A very nice weekend

Overall the room was ok. There was plenty of hot water and clean towels. The sheets were clean and the bed was confy! The bar is Awesome! And you don't have to pay the 5 dollar cover to get in if you stay at the hotel. Overall we had a very nice weekend. It wasn't the Hilton but It fit what we were there for perfectly! And the price rocked! The comedy show on Thursday night at the peppertree lounge is awesome. There is even a DJ after the comedy show....

Attractive, comfortable room, and lots of extras - a central courtyard with pool, whirlpool, and exercise equipment. Continental breakfast was nice. We felt we got a very good value for the money.

Accomodations were right on the price

Rooms were clean, service was good. People at the front desk were welcoming and offered a few tidbits of local places to go. I was told I needed to wait until laundry was done the next morning. That was the only issue we had through a four day weekend, so overall I’d say accomodations were right on the price. The pool was refreshing and the location is central to just about everything you need, only 2 miles for food or less for fast food, and our meeting place for rafting only about 30 mins away.
