After a really bad divorce my children were finally put on their fathers dental insurance, and I called this office to book an appointment for my 3 children, 1 who was in desperate need of dental care. I was told that I had an unpaid balance from years prior, which I didn't know about .. So I asked if I could pay the balance so my son could be seen, and I was told by the Office manager (who was very rude and talked to me like I was scum might I add) that I didn't pay my bills and my kids were no longer welcome there. I am disgusted by this office. Just an FYI "Joanne" I DO pay my bills, this bill you are referring to, I have no idea about it as I was in a marriage where I was not allowed to look at bills or finances. Maybe your office needs to learn compassion, and take each patient on a case by case basis.

Terrible place..found a half of tooth on the floor...I was done at that point. Then after I sat down they came in the room and said do u vaccinate your child..I replied no and they kicked me out and said they don't do dentistry on unvaccinated kids. WHAT!! Are you serious...this is my own choice and one thats extremely controversial..some people even getting sick and one child even dying after having a bad reaction to vaccines...Im not putting my child in harms way because of your crazy practice. Read some bad reviews on vaccines and there ingredients and inject the poisson in your own body not innocent children's! My grandmother got the flu shot this year and I did not...guess what...she got the flu and I was around her and I did not!!! Vaccines are all a scam to keep you sick and make them money! Do your research before you reject perfectly healthy non vaccinated children...and if vaccines really work then what are you afraid of?? My unvaccinated child infecting your vaccinated child...hahaha...your not too smart..what a joke your practice is!

My daughter has had some very bad experiences with other dentists in the past. When I found out Kid Smiles took our insurance Immediately called for an appointment. My daughter who is usually very scared and anxious walking into a dentist office was very comfortable there. The receptionists , the dental hygienists and Dr. Lewis are all very friendly and kind. They are really in tune with how children feel and do their best to make your child comfortable. The children are able to watch a movie or play video games while they are being worked on which is a big help. I am very pleased to have found this dentist office. I couldn't be more satisfied with this place.......

maybe it is time for dr lorraine to retire, she has no patience with the kids. she would give every kid a valium before any simple treatment if she could get away with.

my two kids has been going there for years, i would understand if a kid has anxiety issues, but not when there 12 and 15 years old no anxiety problem. I have to agree with the review above. Find another dentist for your kids , i had so many problems there. Just as ex: my daughter erupted a new tooth with a brawn spot i took her to dr. Lauren who told me that was a malformation and i did not need to worry. Then the school dentist saw my daughter at school and send me a letter Telling me that she had a large cavity and he had put a temporary filling.

I took her back to dr. Lauren who agreed with the dentist.

My son had a pulpectomy Done by dr. lorraine ,Which was done badly

that made him loose the tooth and could have affected the others, i asked dr. Bob who worked with her at the time and he only said it wasn't done right and no comment ...

Dr. Bob was great. But he left.

Don't bother going there, look elsewhere! I was actually turned away bringing my one year old grandson there because I wasn't his parent. I babysit for my daughter who works almost 50 hours a week in a job where she cannot take time off and is a registered nurse and her husband works 60 plus hours a week. To do them a favor, I tried to make an appointment to have his teeth checked and was told because I wasn't his legal guardian and hippa laws (this baby is a one year old) they would not accept me coming there. My daughter was appalled and had no problem sending or faxing a letter to them. In her words "he is a baby, not getting porcelain veneers"...really people, you need to get a grip with your business. After I said I was more than capable as I brought up two children, I was told times have changed. Actually they have changed where more grandparents are actively taking care of their grandchildren these days...shake my head at these people. There's always someone else out there to go to.

Dr Lewis has great credentials and she's only too happy to tell you about them at the visit and in all paperwork you leave with. However, her bedside manner is terrible and I found her not very warm or empathetic when dealing with scared children who had never been to the dentist and after their experience with her will probably never want to go to the dentist again...to which her response would probably be "let's give them some Valium and strap them to the chair" with no parents in the room, of course, because you are not permitted to be there during any procedures.
