I am reviewing this business everywhere I can!!
Found this unique greenhouse through a google search this morning and I was so pleasantly surprised. Lots of unique creative things there! I was the only customer there at the time and got the chance to visit with the woman working. She showed me what was on sale and as we visited I figured out that when we say, "Buy Local" this is where we need to be shopping.
The Pumpkins and gourds there were grown just a few min away, by a local farmer. There are birdhouses to purchase that have a sign that says they are made by a North Newton Resident. There are other things there made by local people. I bought 2 small cactus that they had grown from seed themselves. I asked about a certain variety and the lady, I wish I had asked her name, said she would look into finding the seed.
This greenhouse obviously supports its local community. When they say locally grown they literally mean by their neighbor or themselves Not the neighboring state.
If, by reading another review on here, they are having financial difficulties, then we need to support a place like this as much as possible.
Stop in there soon people. You will enjoy the experience, and you will find something unique.
And if the lady has a chopstick in her hair, ask her why. Her list of uses for it with the plants is pretty neat. I'm going home to dig one out and put with my gardening tools.
