Huntsville City Schools Extended Day Program offers a variety of enrichment activities that assists children in their physical, educational and psychological growth. It offers a variety of opportunities for students to participate in cultural and scientific explorations, historical and civic discoveries, and musical and theatrical experiences. The department also offers resource classes in art, vocal music, fitness, nutrition and foreign language. In addition, it organizes recreational activities that include weekly swimming, skating and bowling. It is a part of Huntsville City Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Huntsville City Schools Extended Day Program is located in Huntsville, Ala.
