Animal Clinic

I have been bringing my cats to Dr. Broderick for 9 years. He runs a country-type animal clinic that is warm and cozy looking that is run by a responsible staff. The hospital is charming and full of horse and polo memorabilia. It is immaculate and friendly. The nurse there is an actual RN that is always kissing and hugging everyone's pets. Doc takes his time with each animal patient and client. He is a teacher, very thorough in his explanations, and is very passionate about extending the life of his patients. Two of my cats had serious problems - one was hit by a car, and the other had an enormous abscess from a cat fight that required surgery. Both my cats recovered perfectly from the care that Dr. Broderick gave them.



This is the only animal hospital that I have been to where the doctor not only knows about nutrition but took the time to teach me how to keep my pets healthy and to prevent them from getting sick in the first place. It doesn't get any better than this.

THE WORST!! Almost killed my dog. Vaccinations are cheap for a reason here. If you love your animals go somewhere else.

I went to the Clinic some years back for their affordable prices for my dog. I would go on a Saturday for the $10 vaccination shot each. I had only 1 problem which I asked someone to cut my dogs nails which are white and yoi can see where the vein

i went to south down animal clinic for a emergency visit for my 4 moth old cane corso puppy named Nico. i met with to most caring Dr. R. Geoffrey Broderick. he took such amazing care of my baby. He even gave me free check up visit and free testing because of my financial situation. Dr. Broderick and his friendly staff truly care about the well being of their patients! Nico was so happy to see them on a thank you visit and for his check-up. Thank you Dr. Broderick for saving my baby's life!!!

I do not recommend Southdown Animal Clinic at all, stay away. Dr Broderick intentionally performed unnecessary tests to raise the bill to more then $1200 for a simple cold. They insisted on using anesthesia to take a simple xray and wanted to charge me more $200/xray. The overall experience was very similar to a visit to a used car lot, where sales person is very pushy and arrogant and just wants to make as much money as possible with no regard for anything else. At southdown animal clinic the Doctor will insist that you purchase his brand of cat food and if you refuse to do so or question any of his inflated fees he gets very defensive and rude. The same attitude follows through to his wife and daughter.
